Was an amazing comeback, crazy D in the 4th quarter last 7-8 minutes. The crowd was behind the team, was super loud on every posession, it felt like the good old days.

Funniest thing was Lowry putting up 4/4/5 in a random January game wasn’t that abnormal, and everyone lost their minds about it back then to lol

Scottie will start getting passes too for those kind of games if this team ever becomes a consistent winner

Lowry was always playing smart tho and being a dog on defence. He just played the game the right way (almost to a fault when he would defer instead of just being selfish).

Barnes is sometimes just deferring when he should be aggressive and being aggressive when he should defer.

But it’s hard to really harp on anyone for not being Lowry. Dude was one of the smartest players I’ve ever seen

We got a glimpse at the defensive potential of the CMB + Scottie pairing in that 4th quarter. If you have 2 defensive playmakers like that on the floor in the playoffs when everyone goes small, it's interesting to think how that could look in the future if they have the right pieces surrounding them.

This game looked over early when we were down double digits a few minutes into the 1st, 20 down midway through the 2nd and again when we were down by 10 with about 7 minutes left. Huge scoring contributions from Gradey and Shead in the first half kept the game somewhat close while the energy and activity of CMB and JKW were a big boost late. Props to Darko for sticking with the lineup that got us the lead at the end and props to Scottie and Ingram for showing up in the second half after a brutal first 24 minutes. Absolutely massive win! Now it also looks like we'll be getting the Nuggets without Jokic. Could string together some wins here.

At some point in late 2nd Qtr, was looking up at the scoreboard and iq, Scottie and BI were combined for 6 points. The bench players kept us in the game.

Lowry was probably up there with LeBron in Basketball IQ. I've never seen anyone execute a 2 for 1 better than him.

Haha hate? Go rewatch the game and watch Orlando takeover the game as Dick came in. His +/- isn’t lying. Just because he scored some points doesn’t mean he was good to have out there.

Yeah if we rewatch we'd see a player keeping the offense afloat through a terrible first half. Love when people say "watch the game" and then only use a box score stat to support your case.

He came in with 5 minutes in the first. And he scored all 12 points Raptors points had until Jakobe scored with 9 left minutes in the 2nd. He is not great defensively but he was not the cause of all the defensive breakdowns. Throw in a steal and offensive rebound because he was active as usual, and he had a great game.

No, I said watch the game because it fell apart as soon as he came in. The box score just corroborates what happened. Some people see scoring and think it means everything but there’s more to the game. Maybe there’s a reason only he was scoring? Maybe Orlando didn’t see him as a threat and focused elsewhere? Maybe he wasn’t getting through screens or boxing out effectively?

He's been the worst of the 3 aside from tonight shooting wise.

Gradey has struggled no doubt but Jakobe's shooting has been as good as can be expected IMO.

Credit to Darko for sticking with Shead at the end of the game. Still some questionable line ups and game management but he made the right call at the end.

Quickly is just not a PG and can't continue in the role.

Great to see Gradey see some shots go down. Not sure what his career will look like but I hope he figures it out and finds his place.

Great to see JKW progressing. Really want to see him get his dribble penetration going again He was more confident last year with it so I hope he finds it again because he does have the skills.

CMB, Shead, and Walter were MASSIVE. Barnes and Ingram big plays in the fourth. Got it done.

I really hope he understands that the identity of this team is defense and that’s what drives everything else. He can’t be putting out lineups that get easily killed

And when he puts out lineups that easily get killed (usually when Walter and Dick share the floor or Barnes/IQ plus bench lineups) is where we lose games. Like the second quarter of this game. But luckily Darko didn’t throw out a lineup like that again and we won.

But can we also admit that KL wasn't 100% that either when young?

He didn't join the Raps until year 7 and it was AFTER year 7 where there was a big change. Kyle even said that Masai pulled him aside and asked what type of player he wanted to be...a great backup or an All Star starter making lots of money.

Our roster is still very young and hopefully most can keep making jumps in development. Tonight we got lots of help from our depth that failed to show up a lot of games RJ missed.

Man, a prime Lowry with this team sure would be nice though...lol. mind you a prime Vince would too!

Lowry also was a threat to shoot 3s off the dribble and at his prime was good at drawing fouls. Barnes issue is he doesnt have a legit offensive skill that he can fall back on. Ingram for example has the mid range game. Barnes after 5 years should’ve come up with something. A post up move, a consistent 3, something. But he just kind of does whatever, picks his spots, yada yada. It’s great if he’s just trying to be Lamar odom or whatever, but he’s supposed to be the guy.
