I'm sorry but I just have to ask, why did you capitalize vagina?

Out of respect. Like the graffiti at my high school back when. Mr. Soandso Sucks.

That apprehension comment has to be one of the finest faux pas on this board. I think I will have to refer to that poster as Mrs. Malaprop from now on.

Hey hey hey...don't need to go that far. I corrected myself.

You are behaving like Chris Paul. You have the nerve to call people out for reading comprehension when you have your own obvious foibles to think about.

You are the RuPaul of grammarians!

That is going too far IMO.

You can bash people's game but calling a grown man Ru Paul knowing he is neither gay nor a drag queen is harsh. Shaq needs to shut up once in a while and not take personal shots at people. IF someone called me that at a bar or on the street, I would have a serious problem with that.
Ignore that one CB, low-brow shot.

We had Shaq in foul trouble our first meeting. Like, he had two fouls withing the first 3 minutes of the game. He had a technical in that game. He fouled out against us. He only played like 24 minutes in that game.

What I'm trying to say is, you CAN get calls against Shaq. We proved it earlier this year.

Then the league got involved. 8-)

I wonder how CreaM and Tommy Gun are going to approach this one.

Too bad we don't have anymore games with phoenix this season. :(

Well my comprehension is quite fine. My grammar and use of words has taken a huge hit from hanging around Mr. Malaprop a little too much.

I wouldn't call myself the RuPaul of grammarians...maybe just the LL Cool J of grammarians. I used to be good but now not so much.

The idea is that Bosh is a big man, but not really a big man.

In addition I doubt Bosh is insecure enough that he'd care if someone called him gay, or a drag queen.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

All I know is Bosh better be ready for the next Phoenix game. The only way to turn this thing around is for Bosh and Bargs to go at Shaq in our next meeting. No holds barred, I wanna see both those guys on attack mode.

Absolutely. Management, coaching and the players.

The "identity" of this team should be about the two bigs that put everyone in foul trouble. But the culture off this team is to let them just play like everyone else. Basically, nothing more is asked of Andrea Bargnani than, say, Anthony Parker. You have an open shot, take it. Once in a while, pump fake and drive. Every player is the same except for their height. That's no identity.

My god, how big of a homophobe are you? The guy/girl was all over the radio and the media, not that long ago. Has a reality show of some kind. Are you that insecure that you think there is something wrong with a person who simply KNOWS who a celebrity drag queen is? Jesus, grow up kid.

I have a feeling Shaq is going to use all his hard fouls on Bosh though. Like the one he did on Stucky earlier in the year.

On a positive note...it could lead to him being ejected haha.

Interesting idea. I'm wondering though, how much more foul trouble do you want CB and Bargs to put people in? Don't they already do it enough for bigs? I think that if they do it anymore than they do now, the defenses could easily adjust. Not calling you out or anything, just wondering about that point.

Classic. Just classic.

The first rule of calling other people dumb is, make sure you don't sound dumb while saying it.

You mean like this:

emfive wrote:That apprehension comment has to be one of the finest faux pas on this board. I think I will have to refer to that poster as Mrs. Malaprop from now on.

Malaprop yes - but most certainly NOT a faux pas.

Foisted by your own petard.

Does that mean that realgm is now the home of the dumb, who are calling out the dumb, who called out the dumb.

To worship is to love unquestioningly and without reservation. That is not a fan. A fan is someone who offers love to his team and gets something in return. If you think this team is giving everything they have (in return for more money than most of us will make in several lifetimes), then you should cheer them. I personally don't. I personally think that if RuPaul did play for the Raps, he'd play like Chris is currently playing and blame the refs on his team losing.

I get the idea about the big man, just think it is a unwarranted shot.

I am not saying Bosh is insecure or worried about one player calling him "a pansy," but I think it is a poor way to express to the media that he doesn't respect CB's game.
Again, them's fightin' words in my eyes.
Shaq needs a temp-muzzle for this because I am sure Gay Rights Groups would also be unhappy that a star player uses a famous gay person in comparison to another player as an insult. Whatever. I wish CB could super-hard-foul him in the next game, but Shaq is too strong and mean.

This year, Shaq has had 20 games with 4 personal fouls or more. He fouled out of 5 games already.

To clarify it even more.. you ain't going to get calls on a night where they are playing at home, with Amare and Nash out.

To clarify? You mean back pedal, because you got called out on an insanely idiotic comment.

And you still didn't do a very good job. The ref's don't have the kind of agenda people like you think they have.

Hmm, with the whole foul thing though, I would argue that Shaq has a lot of fouls because he contests every shot. But maybe you could argue on the offensive end, he doesn't get called for many offensive 3 seconds and fouls. Well, I guess we'd be basing it off one game though right? Sometimes it's easier to jump to conclusions when it happens against your team. I know I've done it as well.
