On the Knicks forum, they’re openly talking about how they thought he was overrated yet now understand that he’s severely underrated.
They’re at the beginning of their “OG is Kawhi 2.0” journey though which I find pretty hilarious.

Please get a grip guys. It’s embarrassing.
As if we didn't have Nurse, Siakam, FVV, OG, and Barnes last year and were a .500 team.
They had their chance and were not good enough

They didn't really have their chance because Masai/Bobby didn't build a good roster around them. Instead they built the worst bench in the league made up of non shooting athletes. Put a scoring combo guard and a stretch 5 with that core and coach and it would have been so different

the impact was always more than stats
he's truly a force defensively and it's creating waves on a NY team that's talented

You don’t build a roster around Siakam and OG. They’re not good enough offensive options to do that.
You add them to an established core. That’s how you “build” around them.
Masai was never going to be able to do that while Siakamc FVV and OG are seeking that much money on their next contacts. Which is why half of the fanbase on this board called for a rebuild 2 years ago because we saw this coming.

They need one more piece maybe someone like Brogdon could be a good addition. And if Lowry happens to hit the market with a buyout, snagging him would be a bonus.

Siakam, OG and Barnes. Some teams would kill for that three man core. There's a world where a great team could have been built around them. But since the championship every personnel move was underwhelming or a failure except Scottie.

This.

But some folks here were adamant he couldn’t play against size. Meanwhile half the fanbase has delusions that RJ is a future star…
I might never forgive Masai for not building g a team around OG and Siakam.

They probably want to give Randle and Brunson the chance to do something in the playoffs. If they lose in the first round again or the 2nd round isn’t competitive. I expect them to move Randle.
