i think any potential deals is going to come down to how the draft plays out for the first 8 picks

Zeno wrote:Personally, and I know this wouldn’t go over well with some, I would jump at RJ and 9 for White and 28. Then I’d draft Danny Wolfe. IQ, White, Ingram, Barnes, Yak makes a lot of sense as a lineup and I definitely think that is a playoff team.

The bench of Shead, Walter, Gradey, Occhai, Battle, Mogbo, Wolfe should be solid enough.

That's a big assumption that Wolf will still be there. My unscientific check has a CBSsports mock #17. Tankathon has him the same. And a randomly selected NBAdraftroom at 18.

No 9 for white unless we get their 2027 pick. I would only send 9 to Boston if we get Brown but his shooting has been ****, worse than RJ.

Nets went thru 2 rebuilds and recovered from each of them in the span of Masai doing absolutely nothing from 2020 until now lol.

Apparently being discussed a contender makes you a contender even if you never were. See Philly, Clippers for further examples
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

I know, it’s just hilarious that they went from having the bleakest future to relatively in the same position as us, if not better.

They’re not in a better position than us. Lol

They have no good young players. Just a bunch of C level prospects. They have no All-Stars. “Better” my ass.

Naw, move on lol. No way you're here acting like the Nets have accomplished something over the Raptors lol

Different ownership. Nets have a swing for the fences mentality. The Raptors will always be more conservative. Especially over the long haul.

You still haven’t changed. I love it.

I’m sure Nets fans are pumped about their Thomas/Russell/Claxton trio.

Just logged back on this week and decided to troll as hard as you could, hey?

Better future than us is a wild take. We have what? The 5/6 best players and the highest draft pick?

But I guess they got some late firsts. That TOTALLY tips the scales
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Brooklyn had 3 superstars and won 48 games.

Nets recovered? What talent do they have that shows any type of future path to success?

They have draft picks which seems to be all some people care about.
