0 chance masai trades this in a salary dump. Also wtf @ listing cojo lol. Dude has the most tradeable contract on our team

Its a smart move to dump Cojo since Wright and FVV are cheaper and quite possibly better players. Also if we're going for a high octane offence next year, Cojo is the last guy you want running the point.

I would only move Cory if we go all crazy re-upping culture of doom. If KL bolts give Cojo a shot.

Wouldn't mind drafting him, he's a project but could turn out pretty good. He's already drawing DeRozan comparisons in that he's just a dunker right now. From what I remember Demar had a pretty good mid range in college too so I'm not sure how accurate that is.

Interested to see how Ojeleye looks today, he's been drawing Draymond comparisons but I don't see it.

Could have tanked the wingspan to make the vertical testing look better later. OG only has an average to slightly above average vertical from what I've seen so if his vertical comes in elite or close to you could see where that extra 4 inches went.

7'2 wingspan with elite vertical probably looks better to some than 7'6 wingspan with average vertical since 7'2 wingspan is still elite for a 3 anyway.

That's a little too much tinfoil

Yeah, you must be young/new because anyone who has been following this thread or the draft for long enough knows this has been purported to happen at the combine. It's not something new. lol

Bruno was measured 6'9 with a 7'7 wingspan. It to me looks like Bruno's arms are visibly longer. I'm just not buying him having a 7'6 wingspan.

Turns out I was right about Anigbogu at the combine so far. He had the best height to wingspan ratio of anyone tested this year.
6'8 1/2 barefoot with a 7'6.25 wingspan. I didn't know it would be that crazy, but he looks noticeably long in highlights of all those blocks he picks up. Guys who make such difficult plays look easily typically have great reach.

Jonathan Jeanne was the tallest and longest player of the day at 7.08 without shoes and a 7'6.5 wingspan. Given his measurements and stats this year, Jeanne should be an excellent shot blocker as well, also evidenced by his 3.9 blocks per game in 11 games this year.

One of my other picks, Rabb, also measured fine, though not spectacularly. 6'10 with a 7'1 wingspan is about what I expected. I think he's been measured roughly the same before.

Also shout out to whoever picked Kyle Kuzma who put on a nice display in the competitive portion of the activities scoring a day's best 20 points including 4-5 on 3 pointers.

:o :o :o

I'm down for the kid. Develop in 905. Increase Powell's value next and package Powell + fillers for a star. I know I sound crazy, but this kid's measurements are insane.

DX has Dennis Smith at 9, am I the only one who thinks he could turn out to be a steal there?

My board after today is

1. Anunoby
2. Hami
3. Giles
4. Jackson
5. Iwundu
6. Semi

I'm probably missing a ton of guys but these are the only guys I think I have a solid understanding of.

He's good. He's only ranked that low (not really low or course) because he plays the most abundant position in the league. And it's a very strong top 10 for point guards.
He looks like a keeper though for some team.

Remember when OKC's late first prospect Jones III was photographed like this? Anyone seen or heard of the guy?

FWIW I agree with you that OG's arms don't look 7'6 but they definitely look bigger than 7'2" (2 Pat's length) maybe around 7'4". I was not arguing that he definitely did tank the measurement by slacking his arms or elbows, but merely that it was a possible explanation for such a discrepancy, and one that has been said to have occurred in previous combines.

A couple things to consider when comparing his wingspan to Bruno though. Bruno was a teenager when we drafted him and has grown to a reported 6'11-7'0 in height now so his arms might have grown as well. Bruno's arms are also extra skinny compared to OG's more filled out arms which can make them appear much longer.

what happened to d'anthony melton...this thread was really hyping him up or is he no longer the flavour of the month

Just got home and it's nice to see my guys showing why I've tabbed them...

Justin Jackson (MD)

#1 on my Raptors draft board. Showed himself to be longer than Kawhi Leonard, which is ridiculous to say the least. I can't wait to see hand measurements because his will be gigantic. He's one helluva mold to work with. A super toolsy guy, with a wet jumper, that could potentially guard 1-5? Sign me up!

Wesley Iwundu

#2 on my board measured ridiculously as well. Wesley is one of those guys that becomes a Khris Middleton, or Norman Powell and people wonder how they missed him. Well, look at his tools, look at his style of play, look at his production. This kid is can't miss. A senior with a versatile style of play with all the tools at his disposal? If he was 19 he'd be top-5, just like Maryland's Justin Jackson. Don't sleep Raptorland!

Kyle Kuzma

Yes, another Ute. But they produce quality! This guy is the 4 man we can plug and play right away. He has built-in ability to play with 2 of our young fellas already. A versatile stretch-4 that plays team ball. He's super glue on any roster. He just always makes the right play. That's a talent that not many possess.

Jordan Bell

Many of us liked him, but I'm not sure how much. Not too many guys like to pick a hustle guy, but this guy is a game changer. He's that kid you hate playing against because he'll always out work you. When you're ready to give up he'll be right there, laughing. Blocking you shot, dunking on your head, embarrassing you. He's the guy that beats you because he gets to every loose ball, and comes from the weakside to block your superstars game winning shot attempt.

Just looked up Kawhi's combine measurements...

Those hands... I thought Justin Jackson would have similar hand size, but it's not close. Those are a big key to Kawhi's success. The last guy with freakish measurements was Noah Vonleh. I wonder why he never panned out. Maybe he's just not so bright.
