I generally agree with your side of the argument, but I am sympathetic to those who can't get out of abusive relationships, because going backwards and into a vacuum financially is clearly a scary thing, especially if a girl like this comes from a bad situation family/parents wise and can't just go there until she's on her feet. It's easy to say just take the leap until you get on your feet with a job and apartment, etc. but that's a hard thing for people to do, especially those who've been made to feel weak by their abusers
Of course in the case of someone like Sterling's GF, it's more likely she has tons of rich connections from being a hot LA chick, so I guess it's harder to let her off the hook
