Re: RealGM Raptors Board Poster of the Year Awards 2014
My vote goes to all the posters who keep coming back and posting here (due to an undiagnosed personality flaw) season after season.
Also appreciate the mods who put up with more crap in a back-to-back loss weekend than most of us could handle in a year.

But seriously there are a lot of great posters who bring something different to the forum that make it unique.
TZ from a pure entertainment and creative aspect is the best.
Double Helix sort of took over from SuperSub as the stats guy. Very informative and analytical.
I like Rhett's common because he reminds me of his avatar. I picture Larry David making his comments in the same kind of driness.
Some guys I like to read around draft time like Mr. Raptorsingh and Sunny.
Some guys I like to read when it comes down to Euro players.
Yogi Stewarts rough humour, it was entertaining when he brought the thunder.
BorisDK1 was the Raptors board for awhile. He was the one that said we should start Amir over Bargs based off of stats. He brought the truth in his analysis and I was one who doubted him but recognize his value. Of course we couldn't play with good things and drove him away.
L'il Ozzy just for the hate on youtube. We drove his authoritarian ways away. But it was funny...
Schadenfreude reminds me of Wilner. Logical and can tear you apart.
Of course there are many more but the ideal poster is what you want to take from the board and the Raptor's board has a ton of options.
And 1 just for quoting KRS One.

Agreed, there is something to be said for a bunch of us who have been here....through...so many...bad times.....
We all deserve something. You know, maybe a Championship?

I've been a lurker since early 2000's. Greatest sports forum on the net. I respect all posters contributions and I love how I can get up to the second updates and also be able to laugh. Cudos to everyone!

Agree with the last few posts. There is no one winner for POY, it's a collective effort and each and every poster that makes a concentrated effort to bring valuable insights to the forum deserves accreditation.
Thanks to all that post here and bring something valuable to the table, whether it be statistical analysis, graphic design, team/player scouting, raptor related news and even the odd chuckle. Every bit makes this board special and my thanks goes out to you, kudos.

Reg00 wrote:Undefeated - MVP. Great.
vini_vidi_vici - informative
Double Helix - Mr. Positive. Loved his last summer where he pretty much rally'd the anti tank movement
Turbo_Zone - MVP. First team for sure
Rhettmatic - intelligent poster. Well spoken
Patman - hard talking. I've disagreed with him but he cares
theonlyeastcoastrapsfan - respectful, intelligent
Choker
J-Roc
Dagger
Of this list I've only seen Patman get sorta nasty with their discussion style (I get mean sometimes so I can relate) but he is intelligent and has brought a lot of statistical analysis for me to chew on. Everyone else is pretty respectful, wry, funny and informative (ie. worth a read.)
Thanks, bro. I have a bit of a mean streak, but I can also take the heat. =)
Maybe that's why I'm quite a fan of Kyle Lowry lol.

Double Helix is by far the best poster.
He has unique and astute opinions and backs them up with logic/stats.
I find myself agreeing with his POV almost every time.
He deserves it.

I nominate everyone on this forum that keeps things basketball related & isn't here to push their political agenda.

* Props to the man, the myth, the legend......TZ.

I remember when we used to push the "Bayless agenda".
We're not looking so good in hindsight on that one.

It's everyone else's fault, not his.
