OT: What Is Wrong With Mark Jones From ESPN aka Paul Jones Brother?

I met Mark Jones at the Westin Hotel before last year's playoffs vs washington. Obv he was here to call game1. I approached and asked if he was Mark Jones and he put on this fake ebonics accent "yeeee" "yeeeea"...etc.

"So you are a Rapterrrs fan i guess?" -- said it very condescendingly. I also said I am a college football fan and told him the US school I went to. Then he said he was super jealous I went to an American school and he lost the fake accent and got a little real and reflected on his life.

LOLLLL this was BEFORE i knew he was super messed up!! It all makes sense when I look back at it. He was so fake with the accent trying so hard with the ebonics. He sounds nothing like that on the broadcast, he sounds super professional. Not this fake guy. I wish i had all this info, I would have definitely asked him in person wtf wrong with you when your bro paving the way for Canadian basketball?

Mark Jones was born in Canada, which automatically makes him a Canadian citizen. Did he forcefully relinquish his Canadian citizenship when he got his US citizenship? If not, then he's still technically Canadian.

He has dual citizenship. One tweeter got pissed and asked him to revoke his Canadian one, Jones said he will. Then took the tweet down. I doubt he did. He can say all the crap about Canada all he wants, but he wont revoke his Canadian citizenship for it.

To be fair I think the radio station is 93.7 and it actually plays a lot of great hip hop music you can't find on other stations. On my top 5 for sure.

But in all honesty, I feel like a lot Canadians who become US citizens probably act the same. They try hard to show their proud Americans but in doing so act way too patriotic than necessary.
