TCU is playing Fultz again tonight, I suggest watching the albino kid. He's a fresh

Jaylen Fisher.

He's not playing well at the moment, but was a high school phenom. I hope he does well. He can do a lot of positive.

I'm really starting to love this kid. Can you imagine a Poeltl/Markkanen future front court with Siakam as that 3rd big back-up?

I would look to move JV for a solid 3 and D wing down the line if we somehow end up with this kid.

wow this kid can ball. How is he defensively? Seems to play with some grit which I never mind

he's decent. Got good mobility for a big so he'll be able to guard faceup bigs easily, to hedge and maybe eventually bother smaller players on switches. Not a great rim protector though because he's not explosive from a standstill off two feet and doesn't have great length. Will be be good contesting from the weakside as a 4 because he can build up speed/explosiveness on his jumps.

Super skilled offensively, an elite shooter, and unselfish/keeps the ball moving. Mainly a faceup player, should not be asked to post up much except on switches, which he can punish because he has the skillset.

I'm a huge fan of Markkanen, but Raps would have to trade up big time to draft him. He'll be going top 10 guaranteed, maybe top 5. Also I'm skeptical of his fit with Poeltl long-term, think Markkanen's ideal frontcourt pairing would be with a pogo-stick shot blocking/rebounding C.

PG/C that's deadly and he definitely a top 5; Perfect fit for Dallas to replace Dirk?

We're playing too good right now. My lowkey plan is to finish 5th in the East so we have a chance at a late teens pick.

I'm telling you guys, picking late teens will be worth it and we're still winning at least one round as long as we aren't #8.

I'm all for tanking for a good pick when a team is trash, but we're a perennial playoff team coming off it's 1st conference finals in team history and you want to lose more games?
A better plan, if the Raptors valued this draft so strongly, would be to increase Ross' role and see if he can play near the same efficiency. That would greatly increase his trade value. He's our Jamal Crawford right now, but could start for at least half a dozen teams. He could easily be moved for a lotto pick if he goes on a tear for a couple months.
I know you want a rebuild(as your name suggest), but it's not happening. This franchise has suffered through so many losing seasons that Masai and Weltman would be fired if they started a rebuild now. It'll be 3-5 years before they consider that, which will coincide with Lowry's decline.

not tanking. The only difference between 5th and 2nd is we get knocked out in the 2nd round instead of 3rd. I'm all for resting DD and Lowry a bunch of games this season. Not only to preserve them for the playoffs, but to get Ross and JV more touches and experience...boast their value

I'm a firm believer that as long as we have two ball dominate guards in Lowry and DD, it will always hold back Ross and JV from reaching their potential. Losing a few extra games to give JV and Ross more touches and minutes, have lowry and DD rested for the playoffs and pick in the late teens/early 20's instead of late 20's is the way to go.

And I truly believe if we ever get that Superstar, it's going to be something similar to what you said, how the spurs got Leonard with George Hill. We'll trade an established player for a lottery pick when MU see's someone he really likes. Even though he really liked him, he didn't pull the trigger on Giannis.

He's going to have to take that chance and pull the trigger if he see's the player he wants. if it's a top 10 pick it could be a player as good as JV, late lottery maybe Ross, but he's gonna have to pull the trigger if he really likes the pick. Even if he has to give up a little more than he wants.

I read the thread thanks, do I go through every page and re-read everything every time I make a post? No. A simple yes or no would suffice, or better yet, no response. People can have overlap on thoughts no? Heaven forbid someone brings up OG more than once right?

I apologize, the thought of reading this 10 page novel of a thread must have been too much of a nightmare for you to handle. If only you had known that you only had to go back 1 page to find the answer to your question.

Go to page 1 and do a control F for the word "Beachem". Maybe just sit a few plays out.

I said "go back 1 page", NOT go to page 1. You really need to improve your reading, or just give it a rest altogether.

Are you done? You've been proven wrong time and time again. You're arguing for NOT reading posts on a forum. And you've shown a lack of reading ability. You're done, and I'm done with your struggle. It's over. Bye.

it feels strange, we were accustomed to fight for the lottery and high picks, and now we are selecting 24th, is this for real?

Actually, we were accustomed to winning some meaningless games and picking 9th. Or not picking at all due to trading picks away. Now we have a GM who has added 1st rounders in consecutive drafts while giving us a bench that helped the team make a deep playoff run for the 1st time in its history. But yeah, it's unreal.

I think of him like a PorzinGod-lite. I beg to differ of his fit with Poeltl but, you mention his ideal paring would be a pogo-stick shot blocking/rebounding C and if you combine Poeltl with Siakam, you basically have that.

I don't know what kind of miracle it will take for Bridges to fall into the 20s, but I'll perform a sacrifice if necessary, or start fasting.

Which teams would potentially trade a pick 10-15
For our two picks and maybe a player?

Feel like that range will have the under the radar dudes that could be just as good as top 5

If there are dudes as good as the top 5 then we would be wrong to trade our picks, no?

I'm thinking the same. Middle of the pack teams include Portland, Knicks(Can't trade their 1st though I believe and likely have blocked Masai's number), Milwaukee(Probably won't deal with Masai again. lol), Sacramento, New Orleans, Denver, Indiana, Washington, Orlando.

I feel like Orlando, New Orleans and Indiana are the best bets with Orlando fitting nicely. But I don't know who they'd want. Maybe one of Delon or Cojo, though Cojo plus both 1sts is an overpay.

Picks 24 + 27 aren't going to move us into the 10-15 range. I would say the best we could do is 18-20. I suppose it all depends on who's still on the board. But for reference, in 2014 the Bulls dealt picks 16 (Nurkic) and 19 (Harris) to the Nuggets for 11 (McBuckets).

Oh yeah, pelicans and pacers maybe cause they don't want to use the time on a young guy and get an immediate impact player. Pacers traded their pick this year I think.

I guess Bottom 20 picks probably won't get you that high without a player included

I'd love to get in on the Miles Bridges bandwagon but it's not happening, imo.

Prove me wrong Masai, please...?
