Masai is thinking long term and this gets us out of the guaranteed norms contract which is honestly a negative with all the FA’s the year before he expires. Plus you could actually see what Drummond looks like in a non garbage situation(Detroit) , playing with a good PG and actually in meaningful games. If the price is norm and serge I do it but probably that’s it. Heck you could sign and trade one of him/Marc in the offseason and end up ahead in the long run

I wouldn’t trade Ibaka for Drummond straight let alone throw in two more.

what do you guys think of Ibaka+Siakam+Powell for Drummond, griffin, rose. That would be a dream come true, we dont have to wait till all-star break to get 2 of our 3 players. Even though Siakam is better than Griffin, when he's not injured hes at all-NBA level. Our medical staff can also restore Griffin to pre-injury state. Plus Drummond>Ibaka Rose>Powell. Our team will be better considering all 3 are healthy

you guys overrate Powell on this board way too much smh dude is just as inconsistent as Ross was smh.. There's some idiotic misconception around here that he can bet us some kind of a star player smh ahhhhhh Mann only raptors fans. I swear some people on here think norm is a allstar level player whenever he goes on his typical 2 weeks hot run.

I dont understand? The improvement in Andre Drummond and Derrick Rose over Serge Ibaka and Norman Powell cancels out the tier margin between Peter Griffin and Pascal Siakam. Both Powell and Siakam will regress from long inactivity too. Peter Griffin averaged 24.5 points per season with 7.5 REB to go and 5.4 AST to help our team's fluid passing so its like stock market, while the market cries, you buy low. We can get peter griffin while hes worth almost nothing because detroit will probably throw a first rounder to go with it too. He will rebound back to his regular numbers in no time Our team will no longer be so terrible in rebounding. I see our team improving drastically with that trade and we need those 1st rounders for 2021 free agency

wtf
Come on now smh dude Drummond is a better player than JV  just because JV matches up well with him it doesn't mean he's a better player, or as good as Drummond. It's like thinking Gasol is a better player than Embiid because he guards him well. You guys do know that these players play against other teams and not just the Raptors right ? Drummond is a rounding Machine, and this is one of our biggest weaknesses right now. You put Drummond with lowry and I can see him putting up some serious numbers here because lowry will get him easy bunnies.

It doesn't work on espn trade machine. Let's do FVV Ibaka for Rose Drummond

TDII gets to develop under two great PGs. We won't have to see ridiculous two PGs starting line up rest of the season and avoid $55M+ PGs line up next year.

If Drummond opts out next year that will be fine too.

Or Ibaka for Tristan is another sound option.

Bro..Drumomd is pretty much expiry as well, he will decline his option for 20/21 to get ore lucrative multiyear deal.

So Pistons will give Rose and „expiry” that half od the league wants for two expiry rentals.
Common..use your brains..even you as GM of the Pistons wouldnt do that deal.

Gosh.,

I keep mixing his name. Its Blake Griffin. Give me one reason why its the worst proposal. Compare the stats of 3 detroit players last season vs Powell, Siakam and Ibaka stats last season, who's on crack then?

I would do fvv/ibaka to get it done, we need more size and power your biggest enforcer can't be 35yr old gasol. That will also save us from paying fvv 25 a year which will probably be a bad contract that ruins our cap sheets for years to come.

You guys are on crack if you even think Postons would consider this, or wouldnt have far far better offers which include picks and young talent they can hold onto for a few years NOT few MONTHS
