What? Malachi has been mentioned here a ton. Just admit that YOU have never seen him play and that YOU never read the pre draft threads.

Almost 40% from the left beyond three. 71% at the rim. 33% at the right beyond the three. Looks like he knows his spots.

Completely sucks at the corner threes though.

The Raptors do an amazing job of developing players' corner 3. I fully expect Flynn to develop into an elite shooter under the Raptors' development plan.

The corner 3 is super easy. I’m surprised its his lowest percentage shot.

Austin Rivers dribbles too much without getting anywhere. This guy's game is a lot more efficient.

Honestly, I'll get a lot of flack for saying this but based on the highlights I've seen, the guy really reminds me of Steph Curry. Obviously, he'll most likely not be the shooter Curry is (although his form kinda reminds me of Steph's) but the way he plays the pick and roll, keeps his head up when dribbling, keeps his hand up to protect the ball, stops and go's, hesi's, steps back all remind me of Steph. Heck, he even looks like him from far away with the same slight build and goatee.

I haven't kept up with this years prospects so I had no idea who he was but after watching some highlights I'm excited to see this guy play.

Yeah, but I see this as a good thing. Lots of guys in the NBA can hit the corner three at a high clip - we have two of the better players at this in OG and Norm. It's rarer and more valuable to have a guy who can hit it off the dribble from the top.

These aren't really answers, you just threw together a few random buzzwords one would typically hear around draft time.

If you'd like to offer the one guy you would have picked in that spot over Flynn and made an argument for why that guy would have been a better pick, that would have been a legit answer.

That's not true. I saw multiple discussions on him. People felt like he was a very Raptors style guard but was questioning his fit with Fred and upside. He wasn't the most popular since most people wanted size and tools but he definitely drew a lot of interest.

Seems like a great pick in a year where there is no summer league, very little training camp and a condensed schedule.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

I was looking at a player on nadraft.net who looked very similar to Dante Exum. I scroll down to see his player comparison and sure enough it’s f*cking Dante Exum lol.

He basically didn’t take any corner threes whatsoever. They made up 3% of his shot total. It’s really statistically insignificant.
