17 shot attempts, the torch is basically passed. It’s him and Siakam as the top dogs

SMH

I think in fairness to everyone, there was a lot that they could see in private workouts that this board and even a lot of draft pundits couldn’t see. He’s clearly put in some work since last year in college. His shot looks so much smoother and his handle is definitely better than it was a year ago.

He’s just not the same player right now that he was on tape last year. Some of that is the congestion of the college game, and you could see moments in his tape where he showed some of this stuff, but he’s improved a ton over the last year. I mean, he scored over 20 points like once last year. It’s not like he did this, no one watched it, and then we’re all shocked by how good he has been - he just wasn’t doing this last year.

I mean if you look at guys like Chad Ford (say what you want. He was high on Scottie) even they are surprised with how good he has been.

In retrospect the people that said Trust in Masai (not me) were the most correct.

Gonna be a close race between Barnes and Mobley. I just feel the kid will figure it out when Siakam comes back. It won’t be easy though, he’s basically occupying the same space so time to see how versatile he really is

I don't like how Nurse have bigs rebound waive off the guard right besides them only to run the ball up the court and do nothing with it, often passing it to the same guard they waived off.

I'm looking at you Boucher and Precious.

I think his hand is fine. JV had a much higher pain tolerance and used to be in agony when he got those. Barnes was wincing after getting a quad contusion the other day. He seemed ok with this injury.

Yeah, there is no way he’s ever going back to a bench role. He’s a starter no doubt from this point forward.

It’s gonna be Achiuwa.

Even Randle is on board! Scottie is too damn impressive

He’s miles from the player I saw in college. Incredible rate of development offensively over the past 10 months. He’s gotta play and he’s gotta play a lot.

He’s in a contract year.

I hate it, but I could see them moving him and just giving his minutes to Achiuwa. I like that he’s Canadian and I think he’s actually playing a bit better than at the start of the season but someone is going to give him more money than we will after the season and it’s a business at the end of the day.

we'll have some tradeable contracts with Dragic, GTJ, boucher and birch. It will be an interesting trade deadline for sure.

Barnes is an Alpha.....this is the 2nd time he just grabs the ball from the teammate, goes up the court and scores on the other team.
