Could Reed Sheppard be a taller Mark Price 2.0? Who knows. Numbers are insane though.

I guess we could run a Lillard/McCollum backcourt.

Hmmmm, maybe he's Steph Curry 2.0? He is already shooting from NBA range and shoots 90% FT's.

How are we getting Reed or Dillingham? We’re going to be close if not into the playoffs now, and the top 5-6 guys are out of the question barring injuries. We should be talking about guys at 31.

Who said anything about getting them? He just made a statement about who he liked in the draft and I asked him if he liked two guys that I'm kind of high on.

He quite literally says “I guess we could run a Lillard/McCollum back court”

You're right. I hope a team like Charlotte gets Sheppard to pair with Lamelo and Miller.

Yeah, the fit would be perfect next to a bigger guard like Lamelo

In my opinion, Alex Sarr is the #1 pick by quite a bit. I don’t think it’s really that close either.

Last season he shot the 3 at 40% and so far a nice start at 50%. Seems like Mason Plumlee that can shoot 3's. At least usable as a backup C.

If I’m getting a big lumbering guy I’m getting the biggest one, so Edey.

As a Michigan fan, I always thought Edey was the better pro prospect because they're probably both backup centers and Dickinson struggles in most situations on defence, whereas Edey is good if he's in drop coverage, and he just has more of a role player mentality. Like in the Alex Caruso quote:

“A big reason guys get stuck in the G-League is because they don’t realize the position they’re trying out for. It’s like going to a job interview thinking you’re going to be the CFO of the company, and they’re looking for someone to clean the bathrooms.”

Dickinson is real skilled, though. He's not as fluid as a Mason Plumlee, but I won't be surprised if he can shoot the 3.

I think we might end up trading this pick for a cheap rotation-y guy like an SG in Josh Green, Agbaji or Moody, maybe with Trent going out and some bad 2025 money coming back (Richaun Holmes if it's Josh Green, Gary Payton JR if it's Moody and if it's Agbaji, we throw in another 2nd and get Olynyk and Trent goes to a 3rd team with Utah netting a 3rd 2nd or some young guy Ainge likes).
Where's the D?

I think Bronny is entering this year considering the scare he had. But I think he will take any contract he can get

I seriously doubt that. The heart issue will be inconsequential to the team that drafts him to get his father, but to get his father you will also need to be the right team.

Bronny is going to take the money. He’s not risking another year.

Probably not but securing a deal, dad not getting younger and the health scare is why i think he comes out this year. I guess all likelyhood toxic klutch will force teams not to draft and he will join dad inLA

I'm just saying it's not really a hot take when he's been ranked #1 on virtually every mainstream ranking and mock draft for a while now.

It depends on who you source. Like I said, everyone’s been saying there’s no defined #1, but you’re saying there is. It is what it is, I’m saying Sarr should be #1 and it’s not as serious as you’re making it out to be.

What a snowflake! And trying to gaslight like I'm the one who took offense. Relax dude, it's a Friday. If your delicate sensibilities can't take a friendly ribbing then maybe you need to get outside more. Next you're going to tell me you're sure Cooper Flagg is the top prospect next year.

You took offence to me saying a guy is #1 and now you’re calling me a snowflake. Gotta love it! Flagg and Sarr’s situations aren’t even mildly comparable, but you struggling with keeping things in perspective seems par for the course.
