Raps will come out of this draft with a big. Pretty confident in that.

Extremely weak finisher. It's concerning but the defensive and shooting potential gives him a high floor.

Believe it is due to his poor vertical jump, below the rim player.

He's on the older side, and needs to prove he can (and just as importantly, will) shoot it if left open, but yeah - he's got the makings of a contributor. Was my favourite UDFA target, but I think he gets picked now. It's one of the reasons I've advocated for trading down from 31.

I can see Masai taking this guy at 31. His BPM and PER numbers are elite (albeit in a weak conference), he has standout measurements, outlier skills for a big man, and a late development curve. Sounds like Pascal 2.0.

Siakam 2.0 was who I was thinking too, not necessarily in style of play but just someone who they can kind of mold and develop with a lot of raw ability.

Unsure he has the ability to create for himself. I feel he is more James Johnson, and shall see if he can get his 3 point shooting.

Likely Ware at 19 or Chomche at 31 but if good upside players drop who knows how big the big will be. Bobi Klintman is 6'10 225 and strokes the 3. Might well be him at 31.. if McCain is there at 19 are we taking Ware? I think not.

My guess would be Nikola Topic. Two knee injuries in the same year, a not perfect shooting stroke could make people think twice in the lottery.

Ja'Kobe Walter was top five at one point in the draft cycle and he my favorite for Toronto. I see huge creation and defensive upside with her.

Topic. Two knee injuries in the same season. Poor shooting numbers. Horrible defence and struggled when he started playing better competition.

High upside wing, might not make it to 19, but I think Masai will be tempted to draft him if he's there.

I'm actually leaning towards Ryan Dunn now, but like George, I don't know if he's there at 19 either.

Dunn with problematic offence? He will be there at 31. Book it. If you are a wing and you cannot shoot g'bye! I take the Enrique Freeman kid who made Akron NCAA D1 as an academic scholarship walk-on and then ripped through the conference competition winning tons of accolades along the way. Give me that kid at #31. If we make a deal for Harrison Barnes for wing power forward depth we'd have Team Barnes squared. And... Team Freeman squared. The 19th pick is on Bobby/Masai to move up with.

Grand slam - Collier and Enrique Freeman
Stand up triple with two ribbies - Kel Lel Ware and KJ Simpson.
Head first into second to beat the throw driving in the go ahead runs - Zac Edey and Pacome Dadiet.

I pointed out that due to age Enrique Freeman (did really well in the combine scrimmages) likely goes undrafted but him and Reece Beekman are my choice for backup PG and backup forward as UDFA's. Jordan Nwora is let walk, Garrett Temple joins the coaching staff? Beekman fight JFL for minutes.

I like the risk of Edey even if he is Senior. He either blows up or is depth. Seemingly so think a lot of teams.

I guess Raps will sign a UDFA. Freeman is appearing on second round mocks.

I think Siakam averaging 20 says a lot about his ability to mold into another kind of player with this comp to Mogbo. Mogbo is going to be a hustle big if he makes it.

Looks like we're going for a big and wing this draft. After the Pascal and OG trades we're lacking size.

Edey only started playing basketball in grade 10 after he grew too tall to play hockey and baseball...so despite being a senior...he might not have finished learning and feeling the game. College seniors who started playing basketball late...hmmm...sounds like other guys that the Raptors have drafted in the Masai era. His feel for the game is already really good for a guy who's been playing for less than a decade whereas other players have been playing since the age of 8 of perhaps younger.
