lol who would you even want from the Kings?

Pelicans have Trey Murphy but you're not getting him cheap.

Keegan Murray, Malik Monk.....just looking at role players that can shoot.

lol why would they want RJ with Lavine and DeMar already there?

It wouldn't be an RJ trade.....if you can't trade RJ there's other ways to improve.

Murray makes 11m and Monk makes 19m. Who else would you be trading?

LLJ wrote:We need a backup big more than we need a lateral trade of RJ. RJ ain't a world beater but as a 3rd-4th option for the most part he's fine. He's got decent length, he can score, and he can pass. He may do those things worse than everyone else in the starting lineup, but that doesn't mean he's trash either. There are a lot worse SGs out there than RJ. As Boogie said, raising the ceiling of this team requires more than a lateral trade of RJ.

Trading RJ for the sake of trading him or to split into more depth makes no sense. Trading him+ for a better player...well ALL of our players should be avaliable for that.

Walter, Ochai, Dick......does look like Monk is out of reach but the overall point is they can consolidate into a better role player.

We're not running a 10 man rotation in the playoffs

It's documented how I felt about this team, how we would play and the being overly optimistic.

A lot of teams are just too small for us, especially on the wings. Our offense & depth bodes positive for us as well

Look at Monk’s production on his rookie contract and then compare it to Gradey’s so far.

Having young talented depth isn’t a bad thing

Monk is just an example, I'm not fixated on him....rather have Dick in that case.

Dick is fine for now since he's on a cheap contract but I think people will be ripping their hair out once he's on a big contract.

I don’t think people give Rj enough credit for being able to fit around all of these offensive players that need the ball in their hands… somehow he’s the problem though.

He doesn’t need to fit his game to others though, he arguably has the easiest job out of the starters. He just has to play off of other people. Things only get bad when he reverts to his Knicks offensive ways.

Fitting around other players and not having a consistent role while still contributing in an efficient manner is very difficult to do.
poeltl, bi and barnes have established roles. quickley and rj are trying to fill in the gaps.

Oh I disagree. I think RJ and IQ’s role are pretty defined. IQ’s issue earlier was just that his shots wasn’t falling, now that it is, his role is pretty streamlined. RJ just needs to cut and run in transition.

It’s Scottie’s role on offence that kinda changes from game to game. That’s mainly cause Scottie still doesn’t really have a go to scoring move though.

Gradey flexing trying to prove he has gotten stronger...lol.

Wish JKW had gotten the chain.

This team really does seem like this year's Jays...love being around one another.

I disagree. It’s pretty clear we’re going to be an above .500 team. Perk is just riding hard for us cause Bill Simmons tried to publicly humiliate him for thinking the Raps could be decent this year.
