I still can't believe this draft is finally here. SMH. The day that trade was made I freaked out and kept thinking it would be a lotto pick and possibly a high one. We've got the 9th pick after just winning 2 games in the conference finals against the NBA champs!!!
This is the same team that once was not allowed to pick first overall and missed out on Allen Iverson!
The same one that couldn't win a playoff round, or land a top draft pick!
The very same that selected Hoffa and caused the commissioner of the league to laugh!

What freaky alternate universe are we living in???

If this was any other GM I'd say that were absolutely true. But we never heard a friggin peep about Bruno until his name was called. Masai is a ridiculously shrewd customer. lol.
And I would say there's no chance he didn't have someone go watch Thon play a few times when he was just a short drive away.

Every team around us will be getting better next year. There's no guarantee we end up with a later pick than the 21st next year so you've basically traded 9th for 12 for nothing. which makes no sense. Control your desires of drafting every player in this draft. Were only gonna have 1 rookie next year. Book it.

Get Sabonis/ Luwawu / Korkmaz @ 12th
Get Brice Johnson/Valentine/ Prince @ 21st
Get Zizic/ Bembry @ 27th
Would be a happy camper what Toronto needs is depth we lost Scola & JJ and likely BB8 and possible trades of Ross, Patterson & Bebe.
