Yeah he's African and has a good motor. That's where the similarities end.

He can actually shoot, with the potential to shoot from 3. He seems to be able to create his own shot and has some decent skill around the basket. Seems faster and has better hops. Also completely different body type. But yeah, he's African.

Who cares where's from as long as he can play ????
Why everybody is focusing on his background ?
So because Masai is African he can't draft an AfricN player ???

My point was that he's getting compared to Biyombo because he's African. You seem confused, and I'll leave it at that. Been banned too many times already.

OK! Now I understand your analogy!
He's also compared to Biyombo because he has the same hustle style of play! And Biyombo is likely gone...But we are in agreement bro! No worries!
Tx for clarifying!

Please stop with the stereotypical/discrimnatory jokes about Africans.

As an African myself, not every African lies about their age.

Just stop please

He played with the younger Bhullar.. Now he might get to play with the older Bhullar.

I trust Masai, just wonder why we couldn't have bought a 2nd to nab him... I'm sure we will hear about how the Spurs were targeting them and he had to move now like he did with Bruno or risk losing him.

Apparently he abused Skal in a workout, basketball without borders connection.

Played with Delon...

Watching all the yokels here talk like they have a clue what they know being anywhere even in the same universe as Masai and his scouting ability is hilarious.

When did he play with Delon?

If there's one thing this draft has made abundantly clear, it's how utterly useless and unreliable anything Chad Ford says is.

Did we work this guy out? Surprised if we didnt and we worked out Stone twice.

I think this guy was the pick at 27 no matter what.

Does it really matter?

The team spends about eight months building a list. As players get drafted, they cross players off that list. When the pick came, the Raps took the next player down on their list.

Mock drafts, intel... none of that means much. You take the next player down the list. You order that list based on the criteria you believe makes the best NBAers.

Apparently in Buffalo with Poeltl and Skal.. Pascal apparently destroyed Labisierre per Lew I think. Woz apparently called it too.

Top 5 PER, Only a Sophomore, 20 and 10, 7'4 Wingspan. I am pretty happy. I grew up with a couple guys that played with him in New Mexico, says he's really good and hard working.

I really like this pick. I have a feeling he'll be fan favourite after his first summer league game.

Best part is I already got a nick for him.Paskal Knock Em Siakim.

Nice. I was thinking something similar. Pascal "Rock Em" Siakam. Y'all remember the Rock'em Sock'em robots??

If they didn't . They'd have been picked by now. Stop basing everything on what you read on mock drafts.

Exactly this. If these guys were expected to go in the lottery, and yet all those teams in front of Masai passed on them, then what makes Masai special for also passing on them? How is Masai passing on them different from the other 10 GMs in front of him? Are they all just a bunch of idiots? Or do they know something that RealGM'ers chanting "BPA!!" don't know?
