derozan should've passed it to a wide open delon at the end of regulation but the play was to get him the ball to shoot so i don't think he was even thinking of passing it to anyone. he was purely in turnaround jumper mode.

I mentioned it a couple times in the game thread but we straight up looked like we were **** around and playing with our food. Just finish the **** job. Casey didn't make it any better by not putting OG back in the game.

Casey's decisions in the second half we're costly, giving FVV so much burn against a backcourt with a lot of size was idiotic. He was giving up 5-7 inches to whoever he had to cover, and got killed.The bench unit struggled to score in the second half, there were moments where we should've put them away and get ready for Miami back home. Dwane's brain cramps in crunch time almost cost us one.

He got too cute with the rotations. I know it's the first game of a back to back but he lacked urgency.

Siakam got a clean steal about 10 seconds earlier, and the refs gifted Dinwiddie a call.

Nothing changes the fact that:
Refs gave Derozan the game winning FT after he was fouled

But failed to give Dinwiddie the same respect.

Whoever said it may be something with his sciatic nerves I would say has made the best guess so far.

Usually that is tied to your hip/lower back which causes the pain to shoot down the leg and explain his inability to plant his foot.

I really didn't want to be the one to say it first, so thank you both, but had the Raptors stopped playing around and finished the game when they should have, Lowry wouldn't have been hurt. Again, Toronto has to now travel back to Toronto and then play the Miami heat tomorrow. This win has costed Toronto their starting PG, time, rest and maybe a few more games down this tough stretch they're about to embark on.

This was all because Casey was resting poeltl/OG/ and just messing with minutes to save guys for Miami.

I don't believe in that way of coaching, I mean, obviously be intelligent about minute distribution but at the same time when a team has the ability to completely sweep a team and force the opposition to bend the knee, then you'll hypothetically still end up saving minutes for your starters. Brooklyn had too much hope for the majority of that game and they fought as if they had a chance to win, which they did, which caused the game to be prolonged and everyone knows the rest.

Man the Brooklyn board is crapping HARD on the refereeing to end the game.

I don't really think Dinwiddie was in control at all on that drive to end the game and lost his balance, but were there any other calls that stood out so much to warrant anger? Or is it just standard shambles post-losing-to-Raptors?

This week was just too good to be true.

Believe it or not, I had a bad feeling last night that something bad was gonna happen right before the Cavs game. Either an injury or us losing at home to the heat end our home winning streak right before the Cavs game.

Obviously now I'm hoping the latter would have happened instead. Now theres a chance that both might happen smh

Thats just not true at all. Spencer clearly forced that shot at the end. Ibaka played big body man up defense. There was no push or shove whatsoever. Dinwiddie just fell down with a little bit of body contact and was essentially praying for a foul. He was more focused on drawing a foul call then actually making the shot. Thats on him
