I dont understand? The improvement in Andre Drummond and Derrick Rose over Serge Ibaka and Norman Powell cancels out the tier margin between Peter Griffin and Pascal Siakam. Both Powell and Siakam will regress from long inactivity too. Peter Griffin averaged 24.5 points per season with 7.5 REB to go and 5.4 AST to help our team's fluid passing so its like stock market, while the market cries, you buy low. We can get peter griffin while hes worth almost nothing because detroit will probably throw a first rounder to go with it too. He will rebound back to his regular numbers in no time Our team will no longer be so terrible in rebounding. I see our team improving drastically with that trade and we need those 1st rounders for 2021 free agency

You're obviously high. That's the worst trade proposal ever. Peter Griffin ? Smoke more weed.

Worse yet, he isn't high. This is his regular state.
Everybody is losing their freaking minds. Nutbars and wingnuts have infested this forum. We've become a public lavatory without cleaning staff.

Blake Griffin is almost 31 and has a bad history of injuries. Pascal Siakam is 5 years younger and he's locked up long term, making substantially less than Griffin over the next three seasons (including this one). Their values are not even remotely close, there's a reason Detroit was roundly criticized by everyone when they traded for Blake.

Then there's Andre Drummond. He's younger, more in Siakam's age range (thus the rumoured interest), but Detroit has had him a long time and they really haven't been successful. He puts up big numbers but he's not a great offensive player and he's not the kind of player that can be the anchor of your defence (like Rudy Gobert). Rebounding is nice... unless that's all you can really do. Non-shooter, can't make free throws, isn't a defensive monster like the best centres, and wants a max contract in a free agency year where there are few big names for teams with cap space to throw their money at. So we'd be getting him for the rest of this season and then losing him in free agency unless we give him a massive contract.

He’s just trolling. He used the full name three times. Who does that.

And it’s only 30 million from matching salaries

I think there is some truth to this in that Drummond has 1 or maybe 2 years on his deal and his strength is rebounding. Remember we apparently have a high level of interest in Tristen Thompson too. Probably just poking around though.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

I keep mixing his name. Its Blake Griffin. Give me one reason why its the worst proposal. Compare the stats of 3 detroit players last season vs Powell, Siakam and Ibaka stats last season, who's on crack then?

Then there was the rumoured JV for Drummond deal. Where there is smoke there is either fire or Pot. :o

I’d do Ibaka for Drummond 1 for 1 but obviously not realistic on Detroit’s part. On defence I think they’re about the same, good rim protection with some mental lapses In general, but Drummond will fix our rebounding issues by a lot and he’s a deadly pnr psrtner with Lowry because he can actually roll and cram it on people where as Ibaka has brick hands and is a little too finesse inside. The main thing we lose is outside shooting, but we have enough of that with everyone healthy anyway.

Again I don’t think it’s enough unless Detroit’s goal is to shed salary and Ibaka is expiring. Id throw in a 1st rounder too since it’s gonna be late anyway and it seems we already have a lot of prospects in the pipeline.

1) Pascal is the best player in the trade and the only player with upside. Best case, he is leagues ahead of the rest. Worst case, he is a step ahead of them.

2) Griffin (best piece for DET) is injury prone and hasnt done jack **** in his career other than insane highlights despite having an all time great pg and a very similar C to Drummond.

3) Rose is Rose. I love him but logic says his time is nearing its end.

4) wed have another pg playing the 2 guard spot (Rose) and wed lose our 2 way sg (Norm)

5) Blakes d is crap, Drummonds d is crap, Rose I have no idea anymore but again, his time is almost over.

6) Norm and Pascal are the 2 youngest players in the deal.

7) locker room chemistry gets shot

I dno those are just off the top of my head...you want more?

I don’t know if any of you had a chance to watch him against LAL last night, but he was just pretty much ineffective all around. At the end, couldnt stand anywhere on the floor he wasn’t pretty much in the way, couldn’t set a decent pick didn’t run the floor, just tried to get his own...why would anyone want the guy remains my question.

Yikes, after watching Drummond vs the Lakers last night. I wouldn't even trade Boucher for him.
He's poop.

Drummond/Snell for Ibaka/Norm/Stanley is the most I’d want traded. No picks, no real prospects. Otherwise hard pass.

Only player I want from the Pistons is Derrick Rose - wished we signed him instead of Stanley Johnson.

Well the trade is likely already agreed to, or will be in the near future. The Doug has already tweeted that a deal for Drummond will never happen, so you know what that means right...

In my mind the deal is already done for better or worse......So, we gave up whatever Masai and Bobby deemed reasonable, lmfao.
