Drake put the Raptors on the map, I'm not sure why this organization doesn't adopt the black/gold full time or go back to the retro purple. These new jerseys are a tired concept and frankly it's nothing but a money grab.

The black ones are tight af, and I’m pleasantly surprised by the white ones (Canada flag vibes). I think the purple one is going to basically be the same design as the black one

That particularly shade of red is too synonymous with chain stores like Canadian Tire, and Sportcheck. Doesn't help that the chevron also looks like a design element you'd find on a flyer. Overall, it makes the jersey look tacky.

Of course not. But gold was going to be a part of the Raptors rebranding from before these recent teams of ours found success, and I think the team has been trying to usher it in ever since. And frankly, purple and red is an ugly color combination.
