His per minute numbers are awesome, but the fact that Detroit is signing every big in the league right now but won't give this guy a contract, and their fans don't seem to mind, makes me really weary of the guy.

Go over to the pistons reddit, they are all depressed at him leaving as he doesn't want to resign. And i don't look at numbers, i watch scouting vids and the dude literally has all the tools of a modern big in the nba. Hed fit as outlr center or if siakam needs a rest our pf.

He can shoot, dribble for a big, his pnr game is good, he contests shots. Im also sure under nurse he could be a more effective defender than ibaka

I agree. I'm lukewarm on Wood.

He can go Yogi Stewart on us the moment he signs that contract. Need bigger sample size...

I guess we blew our once in a generation super team potential when Kawhi walked out on us. Hopefully it doesn't take another 25 years to get that opportunity again. It looks like 2021 Giannis or bust :-?
