I agree, Lowry and Norm are efficient and they are responsible for 35-50 points in any given night. Them being gone will help.

There was considerable risk which I can imagine fans might be sensitive to beyond just liking DeMar, that might show up in a snap poll like that.

I think it's also great that DeMar has aged like wine, playing his best ball for the Spurs and recently being called a future hall of famer by Steve Kerr. Any of the people that were in the draft thread that year know how unskilled he was at USC.

Is doesn’t matter he shot poorly game 7 vs the nuggets and last year they did t even make the playoffs. I was a huge Demar fan but he’s flawed. Doesn’t change no matter how many times he balls out during the regular season.

Totally agree!!!!! It's not worth talking about Demar until he actually shows up in the post season by playing good defence!!

Edwards is emerging and when they get DLo back they may play around.500 ball in the 2nd half of the season and float back to the herd with Detroit and Washington. Orlando may keep sinking with injuries.

The Knicks and Hornets finally being good is the main factor behind this tank. ATL and Miami need to leapfrog us and then the trades are inevitable

Raptors could lose 4-5 games in this little stretch against Philly, Milwaukee, Miami, and the one Minni.

As many of us said, the easy part of the schedule is what has passed and we were still below 0.500, okay offensively, and what 16th defensively?

OG is a solid player, but OG is not an all-star player, so shouldn't be the difference between a top 4 seed and a barely making the playoffs team.

If the wheels fall off in the next week or two, going to be hard for anyone to have any faith in this team at all.

I am so hoping for the Raps to be clobbered the next several games. I am hoping this is all a part of Ujiri's and Webster's grand design. Need to fluke a top 3 pick.

I just hope the team looks like their going in one clear direction, no matter which way that is. The worst case is we steal some games here and there, and hover around the .500 mark, making MLSE pause on whether to blow the team up or not.

Tonight's loss vs the perennially tanking Wolves really shock the confidence of some of the more rational anti-TWO'ers.

Great loss!

Miami to face the Clippers without PG and Kawhi.

Atl hopefully can beat the Knicks in NY.

Cheer on the Bulls to beat Indiana.

5-7 games below 500 after 30 games should be a fairly good indicator of what this team is.

People were puffing their Chester after the win against Washington and an injury riddled Memphis when everyone kept saying the harder games are about to come.

Everyone is saying this team post Lowry will be fine, but all I see is mediocrity.

Drummond on this team will do wonders for the tank. Adding a ball hog who doesn’t play defense, can’t shoot free throws, and is just a generally low IQ player in exchange for Lowry/Norms contracts is a tank move.

After all these years we may finally get Drummond. This board went crazy after we selected Ross over Drummond

I agree but why pay any asset to acquire a tank commander? Dont we already have one in Baynes?

With Drummond's help and a little luck from the lottery balls we get ourselves a Top 10 pick after all.

Let Drummond walk in the offseason, no sweat.

Baynes plays limited minutes so his impact on tanking isn’t great. Playing Drummond whos an inefficient black hole on offense and who doesn’t play defense for the 30 mins a game he will get guarantees you kill the team from the inside out. He’s basically 2013 Rudy Gay at the C.

I mean, I get it if people here would be interested in has been Horford as a replacement C, despite his atrocious contract - all for a playoff push.

Still can't understand why people are interested in Drummond......... it's like the ones who want the Raptors to make the playoffs this year and go all in on Drummond, are secretly hoping for a tank job instead.

Lowry for Drummond straight up. Play him 30+ MPG. That way Raps get the #1 pick in 2021. So essentially Lowry for Drummond and pick swap to #1. Lmfao. Drummond is trash
