You think chicago is going to be playing for anything that game either?

Make their pick that's going to Orlando worse and build chemistry for next year.

Lavine is back to beasting!!! 8-)

I'm sorry... weren't we losing to get better odds at one to for half the year, but Chicago when eliminated wouldn't for one game so they keep the pick? .

Some correctly guessed the team would stink before the season started or after the first few games of the season. Others felt the team was going to be bad with all the COVID-19 related issues and key injuries. For others, though, the Raptors had to be close to mathematically eliminated before realizing the post-season was just a fantasy this season.

It's all good. Next season.

I'd be surprised if Pascal plays another game with that shoulder strain (legit) or OG with his thigh (was legit, maybe not now). Probably alternate Kyle and Fred, one on, one off. No Boucher. Each of the four teams the Raptors play have some playoff position concerns, so ought to be motivated, although Indiana could rest players in that last game.

I've been around long enough to remember us tanking in 2004 and finishing in 8th spot.

I don't get excited for these things any more. Just because you suffered through a year of bad ball, it doesn't mean you get rewarded.

really it all comes down to the game vs the bulls. chicago is trying to make the play in tourney so it shouldn't be hard to lose.

even with a win there, i think the raps are almost locked in to 7th in the lottery.

at least you have the confidence of knowing we don't have a FO that would pick Rafael Araujo over Andre Iguodala.

Bruno's not Hoffa, but it still happens. It's still a crap shoot when projecting who can/can't play in the league.

20th pick vs. 8th pick. pretty big difference there.

Yeah, but it's the same eyes doing the scouting.

Not that I don't feel confident in them, I do. It's just that projecting is hard. It's like hitting a home run. They only want to hear how many you hit, not how often you struck out to get that number. You still have to sit through the strikeout's too.

But its not - IBM Watson didn't start making the decisions until after Bruno's pick year

I would like to see the Raptors sit Lowry for the rest of the season, so he can go out on his performance against the Lakers.

For real? well.... You don't think they might just overly cautious with banged up players or rest players, or shut them down, or outright even invent injuries like the rest of the NBA is doing? Sound familiar?

The Bulls are even bad with a full lineup.

Look, I'll be happy losing to them, I just don't know why one set of rules could apply to only one team when they both could be the same spot.

Pacers about to win which officially eliminates us from the play-in and the Pelicans are currently leading the Grizzlies which guarantees a bottom 9 record. With Lowry+FVV+OG+Siakam out tomorrow, we're surely to lose against the Clippers too while Sacramento plays OKC which would guarantee a bottom 8 record. Even if we do beat the Bulls on Thursday, it seems extremely likely we'll finish with sole possession of the 7th worst record.

Once we get back to playing at home in the Scotia Center our star will rise once again, into the stratosphere. With all the close games we lost this season we could easily end up near the top of our conference again with the help of a great draft pick and solid off season of managerial moves.

Of the bottom seven teams in our conference, we are the only team with a positive point differential. Freddie was right, we are far and away the best worst team.
