I don't and he took another shot at Barnes. Honestly wild to me that he calculated his summer league and career first 5 games shooting outside of 10 feet and came to the conclusion Barnes will not be a top 15 player and just maybe an Allstar once or twice.

He is looking more idiotic each day.

His Suggs was the 2nd best prospect in this class was one of his better takes even if it's terrible for everyone else.

Vecenie's mocks are completely wrong every year. There is a reason this guy doesn't work for an NBA team. He's a realgm poster with a platform that he can share his amateur analysis on.

I didn't mind listening to some of Vecenie's pods prior to the draft, but recently he's been kind of cringe. Dude is still really defensive about picking Barnes over Suggs. He should just admit he was wrong about Scottie like most of us and move on. Scouts get things wrong all the time, but how he's holding on is making me lose respect for him.

We can forget about Vecenie he will never backtrack regardless if Barnes wins DPOY and puts up 24/8/8 or whatever. I'm more interested in Blake Murphy. I have some hope that he will but not counting on it either.

I come in peace.. and this is 1000% right. Suggs is in a horrible situation playing with Cole Anthony. The Magic are a mess right now with the youngest starting lineup and a rookie coach. I think he will get better once Fultz gets back who is a way better distributer than Cole, but Cole has been playing decent so I am nervous that Coach Mosley will keep Cole in the starting lineup when Fultz gets back and benches Suggs, which would be terrible for Suggs confidence. Barnes was drafted to one of if not the best coach in the NBA with a development team that is also one of the best. People dont take all of this into consideration when labeling people busts 5 games into a season.

Yeah, I've been impressed with Suggs' plus/minus. He's clearly not a liability out there. Meanwhile, Fran Fraschilla was not complimentary of Wagner before the draft. Does he look like a player out there? The box score stats look OK.

When the hell is Isaac coming back? He's your number one Siakam-esque prospect. What's going on?

Yeah, he isnt a liability at all. I think his confidence is just a down right now. He tries to let the game come to him at times, but Cole doesnt pass him the ball for about 5 minutes so then he shoots a horrible shot due to not touching the ball for a few possessions. He really just needs a play maker like Fultz next to him to help set him up better. In regards to Franz, I am pleasantly surprised by him as most magic fans were concerned after his horrible showing in Summer League and the preseason.

I think when it comes to Isaac and Fultz the team is taking a very careful approach with them as they are seen by many as the building blocks. I dont foresee either to play until at least January.

That makes sense. Magic finally tore it down (too late imo) and should go after 2 more years of top 5 picks. I have a feeling TRoss will be one of the hotter commodities at the deadline this year. Any noise there on when/if they'd look to trade him?

Suggs will not be this bad. He may not have the physical tools of a star but he was too good at Gonzaga to be shooting like this. He'll find his touch though may struggle with length for his career, that's really the downside I think.

I agree with we tore it down a too late. We should have tore it down 2 years ago. We knew this team wasnt going to win anything, but I think ownership just wanted to make the playoffs.

I am in the minority, but Ross' body language this year looks to not really want to be here( I dont blame him) but I really doubt the Magic trade him more so because without him we are TOOOOO young. They need some vets in the locker room.

Once Suggs figures out how to use his body correctly he will be fine. He still tries to blow by people like he did in College, but that doesnt work in the NBA. He needs to learn how to tuck the ball when in the paint which I'm shocked that he doesnt do considering his background in football. At the end of the day I am a little worried about him, but its way too early to freak out.

We labelled him Coin-Toss-Ross because we lost the coin flip to get Drummond but also because he's either really good or completely worthless game to game. Streaky AF - has he figured it out to be a more consistent scorer at this point in his career? Ross has always had the physical tools and shooting touch to be a great 3rd/4th option but we never kept him to see him get there.

lol it was Barnes-Ross-Drummond.

Talents is still there for Suggs. But the thing that is concerning is his improvement during the summer. I remember he posted photo that he was working with trainer predraft. But what exactly he was working on? His handles, footworks and jump shot still looks the same as in the past.
