You have Perk practically begging the Heat to up the ante. Perk is putting pressure on Jimmy and Bam to pressure the front office.

It really is pathetic to see.

Man, if Miami fails to get Dame because they refused to give up Jovic, Martin, or whatever sweetner that makes them look so foolish.

Because the next best offer is centred around Herro.

Can you really blame them?

Dame to the Miami Heat is a whole lot more exciting to talk about than him to Toronto. The amount of content they can get from him landing in Miami would be massive. On the heels of a Finals loss and him literally fitting that team like a Glove next to their two stars.

I still think he lands there, but kudos to us for at least generating some competition to possibly force Miami to put in more assets to make the damn deal. I don't want to see Lillard reporting to training camp for the Blazers man.

The network that has TV rights to the NBA should call the shots as close to equal as possible. If not...give the rights to someone else. I get that ratings are king...but the network weaves the storyline. They can do some work for a change and research/present 30 teams or be lazy and only talk about 4 teams. The hate on some of these smaller market teams does the NBA brand dirty.

Sad but not shocking, Miami has 16 national TV games , 8 on ESPN, Raptors have 2.

Once again:
- Dame
- Trent
- Barnes
- Siakim
- Poetl
can definetely get out of east and could contend if Scottie takes a step and Raps can cobble a decent bench.

I wonder if the board will be able to spell Siakam consistently before he retires

Perimeter defense is honestly mediocre but we should be solid defensively in totality because of Barnes, Siakam and Poetl in the interior.

People don't realize how little value Dame has.

When is Portland's media day? That is essentially the deadline.

I think Monday. But I bet if the deal is close and talks are on going they will agree that he does not have to show up. Hoping I’m wrong though and this is resolved before then.
