Well, that's what happens when you build your team by throwing the most money at the biggest names.

Still hate the dh, but yeah, go Blue Jays. It's nice to see a manager who actually manages. Schneider is a boss.

I know it's a diff sport and they do things differently. But I'm just laughing thinking about what if we celebrated like that after beating Orlando in the 1st round in 2019. Go jays!

After 162 games, you celebrate things. Though the Yankees celebrating beating Boston in the Wild Card is meh.

This is actually the 2nd round, and yankees are the equivalent of Sixers (Yankees are also a good team so the comparison holds that way too). Go Jays!

That was the second round. They had the best record in the American league so they had a first round bye.

They're one of the final four teams now.

Always being in the hunt means one might become an entitled fan. We are always here so we should win it.

Whereas, we look at 2015 and 2016 as success stories.

I hope the tigers beat the mariners because that’s gonna just be a 7 game series of home games for the Jays. I know Seattle gets a lot of west coast Jays fans but I feel like a Detroit Toronto series would be next level when it comes to our fans travelling.

And just for the record, the Magic were the hottest team in the league going into the 2019 playoffs.

BTW, those Raptors had to face probably the toughest opposition through four rounds of any NBA champion ever. Magic. Sixers undoubtedly had the best starting lineup in the league after the trades to bring in Jimmy and Tobi. Bucks were the top team in the league, with a crazy high point differential (~10 points IIRC). Yankee broadcasters know very well how predictive run differential is. And sure the Dubs were without KD, but in the WCF, they had swept Portland. There was an argument being made that they were BETTER without KD - that the ball didn't stick.

Sorry, I just like to vent about this every so often.

At least by going 5 games, Skubal will pitch tonight, so he'll pitch game 3 and maybe game 7 next series. Good to only have to face him once. Beat him like Fried. :D

Mariners and Tigers will probably block Canadians from purchasing tickets (which the Yankees did). Because if they don't, it will be like home games for the Jays.

Clearly defense is the difference between winning and losing for this team.

Raptors can lend the Blue Jays their buses that take fans from downtown Toronto to Detroit
