Markkanen and Trey Murphy aren't going for Jakob Poeltl plus pick(s) Walter, Gradey Dick and end of the bench guys. If Toronto could get Murphy for RJ they would be stupid not to make that move. Lauri is going to cost CMB at a minimum plus some sort of pick package (with swap(s) and firsts) plus salary relief.

I’m not crazy about going for wing allstars. C or Pg are the spots to upgrade in my mind. Those are the two most critical positions so if there is a way to improve we should focus on resources on those areas.

Maybe they bring him back after Jan 10 when you can start signing 10 day deals.

That being said it's not like he played for us so no hurry or need to bring him back.

He's still around the team. So like said above he'll probably sign a 10 day soon..They'll also just wait as long as they can before doing it.

Pelicans have been playing Yves Missi more recently - are they showcasing him?

Someone has been watching Raptors Digest lol you forgot the Brook Lopez one that makes no sense!

Huff trade its great. I thought he looked really good against us earlier in the season and had him as a target.

I personally wouldn't trade a 1st for Keon Ellis. I know lots of guys are creaming over him on here but im personally not sold for that kind of value.

Someone from Raptors Digest probably just copied my Ochai for Ellis + Eubanks base framework from the 1st page of this thread, and specified it by including the draft capital involved.

Does anyone buy that the Raptors actually want to trade for Anthony Davis? Would they really want to trade Poeltl, IQ and Walter for Davis?

I know Davis/Barnes/Ingram/Barrett seems ok, but Davis has complained in the past of playing the 5… Not sure that is the big they need…

I don't think IQ or Jakob get traded. They'd be trading them at an all time low.

I think the Raps explore what's out there for Dick, Ochai, and to a lesser extent, Walter. Maybe RJ as the big salary guy.

If you can get a backup 5 for one of, or a combination of dick and ochai, maybe Walter. Then I think they do it.

Numbers show IQ has actually been good this season, even though he's not playing up to his potential.
I'd hold onto him unless we're trading for a needle mover.

Poeltl I'd look to trade for sure though. He doesn't offer much at this point. We're a top 3 defensive team without him.
