Why is everybody acting like Jay Triano is permanent head coach? The article clearly says INTERIM...which means he's only head coach until BC hires a new head coach.

I like Triano, I hope BC doesn't hire anybody for a while. I want Trainoto get some time to show his coaching abilities.

It needed to happen. The team has really struggled, haven't played a good game as a team all season long. Every game, there's been stretches of terrible play. We were struggling to beat even the bad teams, giving up double digit leads and getting crushed by the better teams in the league. It also looked like the players were growing tired of Mitchell and stopped playing hard for him.

Dan Shulman just stated he believes JT is the head coach for the rest of the season.

What's the point of having a freaking coach if it's all up to the players? The coach tells them what to do and teaches them his strategy.

Smitch SUCKS at coaching and this has been he case ever since he started out with the Raps. He should have been fired years ago and he's lucky that he lasted this long.

He will more than likely get the rest of the year to show what he can do. No legitimate candidates would step into a situation part way into the season.

Triano's ok for now but guys... do you know what this means???

MESSINA!!!

Only thing is he's under contract till next year. I don't think he can come any earlier, can he? Either way he's the perfect guy for this team.
