lots of ppl switch on who they prefer but I stay consistent.

This is on the first page before college even started....This is our guy

It might need a trade up into the late teens to get him.

Maybe our contact with Orlando at #15?

Fournier and #15 for Powell, Stanley and #59?

Fournier has a player option that he'll probably accept and wait until 2021 but there is a chance he opts out or 2020/2021. If #59 isn't enough for them, what about #29?

I think he opts out tbh more likely he gets paid this summer.

It is doubtful he falls to us, but I really want him. He's gonna produce on whatever team he goes to. Most 1st round picks don't make it, I'm confident he will.

It's not the draft to trade up tho. next years draft is way better, we have too many free agents to trade future 1st round picks.

I actually don't mind having the 29th pick in this years draft. If you miss you're paying them so little it doesn't hurt you and I really believe someone at 29 could be just as good as someone that gets picked at 5 this yr

as I stated many times before, I think we take a big. Gasol going to europe, Ibaka a free agent, boucher a free agent. RHJ a free agent....our only playable big under contract is pascal.

Isaiah Stewart, Carney, Jalen smith if he falls would be perfect, Pokusevski, oturu I really like, and Xavier Tillman

I agree, but your post above says the Raptors should try to get Achiuwa. What way would you go about getting a pick in the teens, as he isn't falling to #29?

I think Achiuwa is a PF and can play w Pascal in the front court in todays nba...we just won't be able to trade up for him.

I wouldn't trade powell for him to move up, thats a great contract. I would trade Matt thomas to move up. I'd miss Matt Thomas tho. I wouldn't trade TD. I would trade stanley lol

Maybe a lottery protected pick that turns into 2 future 2nds if we keep missing the playoffs

I don't think anyone we draft could be replacing our starters, may not even crack the rotation. Davis plays 15 mins and he got fouled out. So I think we will look at FA for replacement.

Meanwhile, I prefer a forward, but I think we need more guard skills. I prefer someone with a higher upside than someone who can contribute. I wouldn't mind someone like Diane at 29, as long as we can add another great talent and keep on finding potential, instead of someone who is almost at their ceiling.

What’s functionally the difference between Achiuwa and Reed?

Getting Al Horford would eliminate the max cap space in 2021, which Masai has been aiming for years.

Toronto trades: Kyle Lowry and Matt Thomas
Philadelphia trades: Al Horford and #21

Horford's passing replaces Marc's.

PG FVV - Terry - TD
SG Powell - TD - #29
SF OG - McCaw/Watson
PF Siakam - Horford
C Horford - Ibaka

Dude, you've lost it. Horford is one of the worst contracts in the league right now.

Toronto trades: Kyle Lowry and Stanley Johnson
Philadelphia trades: Al Horford and #21

He seems to still be a better player than Ibaka. Bring back Kyle in 2021.

Strength as Achiuwa could play some C like Ibaka. Achiuwa doesn't have a janky jumper.

I think the jumper is pretty important. Precious looks like he could be an okay shooter one day. Reed i don't expect to ever be a threat unless there's a miracle rebuild. Although I think Reed is a better finisher (halfcourt at least)

Lankiness is a factor for sure, although maybe Reed makes up for it with superior mobility.

Although i dont see Precious as a 4 at all. Clearly 5 to me

Pretty sure Psubs likes him but I’d pass personally

Not sure what he does well on the court besides jumping high and he’s not particularly young or underdeveloped either

Correct. Higher jumping Terrence Ross that could play some SF. He handles contact in the paint well, adequate defense but not great due to short wingspan. Run the break well an poster-finisher. He just might not be as helpful in the playoffs like Terence Davis.

The draft is so flat that he is likely a 2nd rounder but should make a roster and have a 7-10 year career off the bench. I mean if he goes to a bad team, he might start a few seasons like a Gerald Henderson.

Close your eyes, and listen to this interview with Cassius Winston. He sounds exactly like Kyle Lowry it is almost eerie. I have been watching his film a lot recently and I think he will be a good pro. Solid shooter who is going to make others around him better with his passing. He plays pick and roll really well. Probably the best floor general with shooting in the draft.

I don’t see the T Ross comp because I haven’t really seen him make any off-movement jumpers. Seems like he’s just a standstill shooter to me

Zero. Lowry bullies in, and is a very good off the ball scorer.
Lowry doesn't dance with the ball, doesn't settle for step back nor keep crossing and crossing.

What do you guys think of Nathan Knight at pick 59 or as an undrafted guy?

Interesting developmental project as a small ball 5, or regular 4. He's a nimble, and skilled 6'10 250lbs Senior big from a small school, with a 7'2 wingspan. He's got some touch and post moves. Can even handle the ball and pass a bit. Reminds me of a more skilled Kevin Willis. Averaged 20.7pts 10.5reb 1.8ast 1.5blks in his last year
