They also seem to make a lot of turnovers and thats Calderon's speciality and they don't run the floor, so he would be comfortable in the half court.

Turk for Wallace!?

They've done crazier trades, they don't have a good shooter or playmaker on that team so he would fit in perfectly. He would also be squeezing in with a bunch of defenders.

Michael Jordan and Rod Higgins aren't mentally challenged, to the best of my knowledge. Gerald Wallace is a Top 30 player, and Turk is in the bottom half of NBA players. This is widely acknowledged and understood.

No offense but you would have to be looney if you think Turk gets you Wallace...

Not kidding so much as in disbelief that he suggested that the Bobcats might bite on that trade. They don't need Hedo, don't want him, and certainly wouldn't give up Wallace to get him.

If larry is gone next year, we might have a chance, felton is not a bad defensive player and brown rolls with the d.

Of course I would. If Miami is going to be idiots and throw away young talent like that just to win now, I'd exploit it. There's little chance someone drafted at #13 is going to top out as good as Beasley is right now, let alone have his ceiling.

I don't know why it's so hard for people to understand that the mock drafts do not line up teams with their likely pick until after the workouts begin and the lottery is completed in mid-May. Montejunas is one of two dozen players whom we could end up drafting and at this point, I'd be surprised if the scouting staff had narrowed their list down at all.

Everyone understands that. The problem is that everyone knows Colangelo loves Bargnani off. He loves European players in general from what we've seen of him in Toronto. So, while it would make no sense to take, I can't even remember his name, it's quite possible that he would. It would be the stupidest pick of his gm career, but it is possible. He might be able to justify it later, saying there was no clear cut choice on the board. Then he'd mention how it wouldn't have happened in the first place if Garbo never got injured.

Why is it a stupid pick?? You have no idea who this guys is and how he will turn out. My god.
EURO THIS EURO THAT. There are just as many US players that are Lazy soft busts etc. Give me a freakn break. Look at the NHL, EUROS are soft well last time I checked Euros have been winning big time there (Detroit, Pits, Washington). SO PLEASE stop and think before you guys speak. IT IS DISGUSTING how bad this board has gotten. It is evolution of the game my friends. I dont care if the guy grew up in some dumbster if the guy is good then get him period.

Beasley is still young and has potential. Although he looks like an attractive asset to add given his value may be more attainable he has serious off court issues (depression) that I would rather look elsewhere. We don't have to baby sit another players emotions. The locker room would be an emotional mess.

Depending on the deal, but I'd think about it really hard.

This guy has a nice game.

Don't think Bryan would, so I would be surprised if we ever saw Riley and Colangelo get together on getting it done.

What about Beasley on the Bobcats? That might work, MJ to scare him into being responsible. They need a scorer and Beasley is very athletic and would fit the system and make-up of the team. Defense needs major work, IQ and effort, but he could be a very good defender in the future if he is coached well.

No thanks the guy is lazy and is only motivated to play in some occasions. He's got talent but doesn't put it all out on the floor.

I wouldn't give up our pick. At least one of Orton/Whiteside/Udoh/Alabi is going be a decent big that can rebound and defend for us. Right now, a mid lotto is probably too much to give up for Beasley, I can see us getting him (and hopefully our pick back, and/or Miami's pick this year) in a Bosh s&t, or if we trade them Jack. The only thing I would want Beasley for is to flip him to Memphis for Thabeet, or possibly NO in a salary dump for Collison. The kid could be good, but not next to Bargs, unless he is playing a pure 6th man role.

I hope that's not your sales pitch because the Raps are full of guys, who are putting up half-ok numbers.
