BC just mentioned that they were fairly close to something during the Davis Presser.

That could be referring to the Amir deal since he's not allowed to officially talk about it

I think Jose is misunderstanding what was said.

BC said something like "I checked hoopshype before I came on here to be up to date with the latest rumours." He was dogging Hoopshype as much as anything.

I would love Matt Barnes.

One thing that is intruiging about this article is the idea that gives reason to why BC hasnt done anything yet.

Maybe he doesnt wanna trade Jose, or Jack, or even Hedo (even though he is singing a different tune now) because he wants to see what players he gets for Bosh first, and make other trades accordingly based on needs for the team.

It's mind-boggling how people here want Matt Barnes for the full MLE. This guy is old, nothing special and not a guy you want to be committed to when you're one of the least talented teams in the league.

I don't think Barnes would want to come to Toronto, and he's getting on in age, so I hope if it is Barnes we don't give him a full 5 year contract.
Childress would be interesting too.

I don't really trust Dough though, there might be no FA at all.
