I don't feel like reading all of that, who is the roommate?

The roommate is just a scrub and never got close to the NBA, but he's the college teammate of Glenn Robinson IIRC. You should really read the story if you have the time though, one of the best reads ever. It starts off as a simple story about his roommate, but evolves into so much more.

I would also advise people to read the story. It is as epic as flossechocolate's fanfiction.
