We can draft Williams and play him as our future 4. If Williams is a better prospect than Davis, the question is what to do with Davis for me. We need a potential 20ppg centerpiece more than a 13/10 type in Davis.

Frankly I wouldn't be opposed to dealing him for Detroit's #7 pick at all. Or even Sac, Washington, Cleveland's 2 picks could be interested in them. Remember right now Cleveland's most likely %s are 4 and 8, Sac and Washington are 5 and 6. They're not pencilled in for 1, 2 and 3 at all. It's very likely one of Sac/Wash are at 5 or 6 and could be interested in Davis. If the BPA is a PF I'd down with dealing Davis for a 5-8 pick. I mean we got him at 13 last year, that's a nice raise in stock for a year

I know everyone always makes the 'let's get a ton of picks in this draft' proposal but I like this draft a lot and feel it has nice depth. There's a lot of combinations of two lotto guys and Derozan that make me drool. My favorite is Fredette, Derozan and Sullinger just cause I know it'd give us 3 complete gamers and the combination of Sullinger's big ass setting screens to help Fredette on the pick and roll would be sick - But I know people aren't all in on Jimmer or Sullinger. So it could be Derozan, Barnes and Williams or Kemba, Derozan and Williams or Derozan, Terrence Jones and Williams or Derozan, Terrence Jones and Perry Jones III. If you're in on the Jonas apocalypse pick then we could have Derozan, Williams and Valanciunas or if you want to kill me, Kemba, Derozan and Valanciunas
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

I don't really like the idea of trading Ed Davis for a late lottery pick. Is Bargnani and Ed Davis (or our own lottery pick) enough to net us Brook Lopez? I rather save a chunk of money while getting the definite best player in the deal. Jimmer seems like far too big of a risk to give up arguably our best prospect in Davis. Lopez is making peanuts next season, which could allow us to target Wilson Chandler or Jeff Green for a more complete starting front court.

I wouldn't want to trade Ed unless we're getting a better pick than our own right now. I'd be very open to giving up Bargs for a crap contract and another lotto pick. One of Sacramento, Cleveland (with the Clippers pick), Detroit, or Milwaukee might be interested.

Yeah, we would definitely have to be moving up in the draft. I think we need to focus on trying to land one really good asset instead of two who might be pretty good.

Trading Ed for a pick is pretty dumb. You already know what you get from Ed. Add in the fact he would also improve from that. Whereas with the pick, there might be a chance the player turns into a bust or you'll have to wait for him to develop.

Man... I cannot wait for the lottery... I just wanna know what kind of a player we can add to this team. I like a lot of the prospects...

Irving
Barnes
Kanter
Valanciunas
Sullinger
Jones
Walker
Jones

They'd all be good pieces for the future.

Harrison Barnes looked nice no doubt about it. Was all over the glass and made some timely buckets too.

Still don't see the killer in him but his numbers are great

I like irving, but Harrison barnes looks like he's gonna be a superstar one day. I'd rather not pass on him this year if we get that chance. N next year grab myck, we'll be set with

Derozan
Barnes
Davis

I think if you told Barnes to attack I think he would... he just needs to be pushed a bit. Would love to seem him attack the rim more and settle less for his jumper even if he has nice form and a quick release

What you don't see is him trying to be a black hole and take all the shots, that's what I think you mean by killer instinct, but he truly does have that killer instinct down by 1, 10 seconds he's taking the last shot if that's not killer instinct than there is no such thing in basketball.

Barnes continues to show he's a top 5 pick. Told you guys all season not to jump off the bandwagon but some of you just love those small sample sizes.

Barnes and Henson continue to look great. These stat lines are sick that they're putting up.

But in all fairness the UNC lineup completely dominated and shut down Long Island.

Barnes had a very complete 2 way game and it's nice to see him dominating like that.

Henson completely shut down Long Island defensively. The other great thing was his FT shooting. He's been making great strides there lately. If he can become a 70-75% FT shooter it will really start to complete his offensive game.

With Super-Irving back in form for the Duke, I see them as clear-favorite for the title so it's going to be hard for UNC to go all the way. But nonetheless, it was clearly a nice all around game for Barnes despite jacking up too many 3s, he didn't have to go on killer-instinct mode and hit clutch shots this game since it wasn't necessary and the game was clearly going in UNC's momentum the late 2nd half.

This game wasn't that telling cause of how weak Long Island is. Barnes is taller than their starting center and Henson's standing reach is probably at least a foot longer than anyone on that Long Island team. It's no wonder Zeller scored 32 on 14 shots (not that he's a bad player)

I'm assuming we are not wanting to draft power forwards. My guess is we are looking at something like
Irving (off the board??)
T Jones (likely on the board)
Barnes (likely on the board)
Kanter (likely on the board)
Leonard (likely on the board)
Valanciunas (likely on the board)
Vesely (on the board without question)

We could actually swap with say a Washington to get the player we really want if Irving is the guy and Cleveland doesn't bite. Kanter looks like a legit centre. Leonard may rise and surprise. T Jones appears more skilled than Barnes at this point and Valanciunas and Vesely look like bust risks.

Trading Ed Davis for a lotto pick is akin to splitting 10s in blackjack; a really really bad move.

This place is insufferable.

I dont get why anyone would trade ED for a a lotto pick. It makes no sense unless we get the top pick in return.

F*ck I hate that Barnes' stock is back on the climb (hi haters btw!!! eat crow) cuz now I think we're going to get stuck with Perry Jones.
