Easy with the pessimism hipster

haha... you're right. Bottom 3 finish a lot better than 9th or somethings. Could be a lot worse.

Wow got some D-Williams haters in the forum. The guy is an absolute beast; a guy JJ and Linas K can only dream of being. Derozan and Derrick will make the best 2-3 combo since Vince and Tmac. He has a great attitude and a good work ethic. A lock for 2nd pick. I rather have D Will than Barnes any day.

Biyombo is going top ten. The Miami pick is what, 26th? Wasn't going to happen.

Biyomob is anything but a traditional C

can this guy shoot long range? If he doesn't, it would be rough to have both him and DeRozan at the 2/3.

Yes, he can, so I'm not sure why some are so reticent on him. Of course, it remains to be seen whether he'll be able to hold up @ the 3-spot on defense, but we shouldn't have any worry on the offensive end.

i wouldn't oppose to the raptors drafting Ernes Kater. Him and Ed would be nasty upfront. Bargnani six man.

We need a more dynamic SF, who can defend, slash, and score like a old school SF.

Williams looks like more of a powerforward. Here's hoping we get Irving, if not then Barnes. I really hope these dudes declare.

He's not a bigger DeRozan at all.

JJ for a late first rounder is a so-so trade. But for this draft? It's pretty good. Those late first rounders are going to be almost negative value this year.

This kid's a basketball player. He's athletic, strong, fast and has a lot of skills. He can shoot the three, and he's a great finisher inside, plus he was a great rebounder in college. If he can defend small forwards, we're looking at a really talented player.

and if you really want one, I'm sure you'll find teams more than willing to sell off late 1st rounders (and their guaranteed salary) heading into the new CBA.

Now we just need Barnes to declare. Irving/Barnes/DWill/Kanter/Val.

add in Biyombo, and we've got 6 solid prospects (who could potentially start for us) that we can definitely get no matter what happens in the lotto. I'm so happy we secured that #3 spot without any ties.

UNC basketball banquet is tonight. Media not invited. Will Harrison Barnes, like Psycho T in 2007, use the stage to announce his return?

please no Barnes!

danwiederer Dan Wiederer
If Barnes doesn't have an announcement today or this evening, I'd be surprised.

Don't do this to yourself guys. Barnes looks like a lock to return. Maybe he surprises everyone and declares (I'd be thrilled), but I wouldn't get your hopes up...

I agree. Although he is a good prospect imo. But there are better prospects ahead of him. If we managed to grab a lotto pick then kudos to BC. But with a top 3 pick. Thats ridiculous as of now.
