Huskies just doesn't strike any fear. I dunno. The jersey design is alright, looks like a college jersey to me.

Fear? Sorry to inform you but no jersey design or team name strikes fear in anyone. The only thing that strikes fear in opponents, talent. And tbh, I think most college uniforms sh't all over many NBA uniforms. Take a look at the Kansas uniforms.

Lolz did I strike a nerve? Relax dude. Yeah you're absolutely right, thanks for stating the obvious. Huskies sounds just as cute as Puppies, to me at least. Still prefer Raptors. A jersey redesign for that I would love to see, but at the same time I don't have any issues with the current uniforms.

Huskies is mediocre at best.
I'll 2nd the Blizzard idea. And if 'marketing' has to try and nationalize the brand, Blizzard works as good as anything except for maybe the Beaver Canoes...

Re: Huskies re-branding v.1 - Focus Group
For those posters saying Huskies isn't a fearsome enough name how much fear dose; Lakers, Celtics, Knicks, Nets, Pelicans, Magic, Heat, Spurs, Pistons, Bucks, 76res, Pacers, Suns, Nuggets or Jazz strike in you?
Winning or tradition are the only things that make team marketable.
The Raptors name has NO cache, it is known for losing and a team Vince Carter played once upon a time or the team Bosh should be the mascot for.
Th reason the Huskies name and rebrand makes so much sense is because like the Knicks we would be the only teams in the league to have the claim to playing in the first NBA game EVER. It sets us apart from other teams and gives us a reason for being in the league and not just some throw away expansion franchise.
That fact alone would separate us from the other loser franchises that have nothing that sets them apart from the rest of the other perpetual losers imo.

Blue and white are the unofficial colours of this city. The Raptors are an oddball. The red and white colour scheme was just a money grubbing ploy by MLSE to try and market the team to the rest of Canada.
Toronto FC is also red.

Wow...this is definitely amazing! What are the chances that we actually get another team in Toronto? The design is very very nice.

Kansas does have some dirty jerseys. Their colours work well together too.

Is the neck/mane in the first logo meant to resemble a basketball net?

Instead of the dot above i, you can make it the canadian flag so it doesn't have to be on the pants.

Right...cuz I have always been afraid of Lakers, Jazz, Magic, and Leprechauns.
The absurd mystery of the strange forces of existence.

Someone who's savvy with Twitter should send it out to all the media guys and players. Someone is bound to pick it up.

They're exactly the same...only one is a Huskie, and the other a Wolf.

I think those jerseys like slick (on original page), but the logos I've seen so far are absolutely terrible.
I'm a fan of the three claw raptor logo. I think it's nice and simple, but represents the team name.
