Re: If Lowry performs like this in the series he shouldn't be re-signed

Too Late Crew wrote:Its a pattern and it really doesn't matter why. It could be that he's mentally weak or it could be that he simply can't play more than 60 games without sustains some kind of injury that kills his production in the playoffs. Fact is this is 3 years in a row it's happened. He's 31 so the odds are that next year the same thing will happen and when he's 32 it will happen and do on. He's not going to get younger and healthier. He's a 31 year old veteran do he's nit suddenly going to develop playoff mental toughness.

If he can be signed and traded great. Regardless if he's on the roster this time next year people can't be surprised if the results are the same.

I would like to see how Lowry holds up if we give him the Pop plan - 32-33 minutes per game and resting him on some back to backs.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Re: Overreact to Game 1 for the entire series - Bucks sweeping us now?

i think what makes this loss more sad is that everyone was complainig about getting ref shafted and the refs were actually on our side for most of the game... and yet we still lost... god were so bad man. if middleton starts making shots and the refs actually give the bucks a favourable whistle, we're getting blown out every game seriously... all i know is this, if we lose this series, casey has to go. for real like fire him asap.

Anyone else struggle to wake up this morning.

I need to stop investing too much emotionally in this team. Absolutely devastated my weekend.

Stars are made in the regular season. Superstars are made in the playoffs. This young man is a monster plays the game the right. Heart on his sleep under control. Mentally has a 22 year old more advanced than our 2 players.

That block on derozan and celebrating and he wasn't even looking at derozan and derozan look he wanted fight him. I found that ridiculous tbh

It's really sad. You look at the thousands of fans outside the arena and the loudest building in the NBA inside the arena singing O Canada and chanting Let's go raptors before tip off we truly deserve to have that team in Oakland

Brogdon and Monroe looked more experienced than our guys and it was their first playoffs in a hostile environment.

I simply don't understand how these guys have been through so much pain in the playoffs and continue to suck.

It's pathetic and I blame casey. Kidd ran circles around him all night. This team came out unprepared and lowry led the way. Let's be honest, derozan was decent. In the first half it seemed like he was the only one on offense, JV was clueless, shrugging his shoulders during play. It's all casey. I wonder if casey also had JV bulk up and slow him down even more.

has nothing to do with being a vet.

Greek freak has always had more potential than either of those two guys. He is still basically on his rookie contract and this year he had a better year than Demar or Lowry ever had. He's only going to get better.

You are talking about different calibre players. Greek freak is on that Lebron, Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Adavis, Kawhi type level. He could win an MVP. He's better than George last year and obvi better than a broken down wade last year too. Different type of beast.

Lowry and DD are All-stars, not superstars.

Lowry played like trash.

Derozan did not.

All three are very skilled, but Giannis has the physical tools to do whatever he wants.

The only reason lowry and DD are all stars is because Canada as a whole voted for them every year. These guys would never be all stars on a usa team. DD might have a case for the first time next year.

We simply got bullied on our home court. Once we got roughed up we didn't retaliate we simply played nervous throughout the game. Next game DD needs to play smarter, lowry needs to drive, jv needs to set harder screens, ibaka needs to box out and hustle more, Cojo needs to drive as well, and the rest need to up their D and hit open shots. We're easily the better team we just cant get out worked out there

Giannis was cool as a cucumber in his playoff debut and Lowry with years of experience still looked like a deer in the headlights.

If they both played for different american teams they wouldn't have been voted into any of 3 all stars that they have been in. Canada being the only NBA team gives our raptors best players an edge in all star selection voting. Lowry barely made it in this year due to the change in the voting system where media gets a vote too now.

It wasn't his playoff debut. The Raptors didn't stop him or offered any resistance.

I'm not complaining, I enjoy having 2 Toronto players in every all star. I guess I'm just annoyed with how bad lowry is in the playoffs every year and usually it was blamed on him being exhausted. Seems that's never been the case.
