Not sure if this is serious or not, but the bottom 6 teams were so bad for most of the season. Even after all of the missed games due to injury/rest/COVID, we're 6 wins ahead of the 6th worst team.GoRapstheoriginal wrote:At least go for 5th worst
We went 17-17 in the first 34 games with OG missing 11 games, Lowry missing 7 games and Siakam/Powell missing a few games each while we were trotting out Baynes/Boucher as our main C rotation. Then, in the next 34 games, we went 10-24...and that's with FVV missing 16 games in that stretch, Lowry missing 15, OG missing 14 and Siakam/Trent/Boucher all missing 8-9 each too plus numerous injuries/absences from bench pieces (Bembry, Watson, Flynn, Yuta and Harris all missed games due to injury and/or COVID protocols).
Even if we tanked the whole season, we probably would have won more than 11 of our first 34 games and we'd still be ahead of the bottom 6 teams. We really couldn't have done any better lottery-wise.
