Julian Phillips is a guy. Kyle Flip has been nice. Lively and Dariq very underwhelming so far. Dillion Mitchell horrible too. Amari Baily is ok but ion see anything special there.

I like George a lot! Brandon Miller is nice too! Jordan Walsh has been meh. Anothony Black, I like him. Plays hard does a lil of everything.

i like cason wallace.

Emoni Bates, once seen as a possible #1 pick is now a 2nd rounder like Brandon Boston. I think with a good season he could be a candidate for the Raptors 1st round pick. He's got such a quick release and at 6'9 may be a poor man's McGrady. He might be just a taller Malik Monk. He's already shooting NBA range step back 3's.

How crazy lanky would a lineup of Banton, Bates, Barnes, Siakam and Koloko be?!?!?

Though he's a black hole, but I guess a 6'9 version of Gary Trent Jr.

Bates just got arrested for a gun not too long ago, yeah the case got dealt with, but still. Doesn't exactly scream "Raptors type of guy".

Lol this wasn't a legal firearm, plus he altered the ID marks of the gun, probably by filing off the serial numbers. If he was a regular citizen he would likely be in jail or prison right now.

The 16 game suspension handed to Baba could end up being a blessing in disguise for us. He could fall to us just like OG did (tho OG did because of an injury). I feel like if Baba was able to suit for all of FSU's games he'd be a lock for the top 10.
Now he might get drafted outside of the lottery. Of course, he can always just opt out of the upcoming draft, but heck....

GIMME SOME BABABANTONBARNES !!!

The guy looks like mid-Prime Derozan with OG's body and 3-point range. My only concern is he doesn't really bring much to the table outside of scoring right now. He's not a playmaker, he doesn't rebound a ton, and his defensive counting stats are pretty lackluster. But he looks like a guy you can give the ball to late clock and say, do something with this.

He seems like he's gotten terrible advice from his family over and over. I don't think you can write the kid off.

Some of these passes are like Lamelo flashy. Really, though he could be Luol Deng 2.0 but more of a jumbo creator that can start at SG because of his defense.

Brandon Miller is going to be a great NBA wing. Love his shot from range, nice handle and checks all the physical boxes. He reminds me of Jabari Smith. I am kind of shocked how good he looks as a freshman. He even has a bit of vision that is surprisingly advanced for his age:

Agree with all of this, He seems pretty one-dimensional at the moment and probably not athletic enough to overcome a lot of his disadvantages, but its just so unusual to see such skilled scorers that look like him. like a thicker, slightly less athletic Carey Maggette lol

He’s my bust pick, to be honest. I just don’t see it.

Interesting. I am curious what you think is likely a bust about him. I could see him finishing a bit better inside but that will come with time and strength training. For a 19 YO to average 21 and 9 and 2 assists is a pretty impressive start, plus he had a great game against Michigan State which is typically a tough defensive team. I can see him rise up the draft like Keegan Murray and Trey Murphy did because he looks pretty advanced and has NBA size.

He’s really old for a freshman, and I just don’t see any burst. Scottie struggles with burst, but he’s so strong that it doesn’t matter as much— Miller doesn’t have that. Scottie’s handle is also pretty high, so you can dream on an improved handle to improve the first step a bit, whereas Miller’s handle’s already pretty good. To me, he’s Jabari Smith without anywhere near the defensive potential (which, to me, is the most exciting part about Jabari).

I think his burst plays into his struggles at the rim too, and I’m not sure that he’ll improve much there. Strength will help, but I don’t know if it’ll help enough.

I could be completely wrong, and if he’s actually a prodigious shooter then all of his limitations won’t really matter, but I wouldn’t pick him where he’s slated to go right now. He’ll carve out a role, I think, but I’m not seeing top-2 option with him. Again, I could be completely wrong, but that’s how I view him at the moment.
