That's more than what we'll get for Bruce Brown... could have just easily declined his option and use the cap space for this loll.

No, my definition of "winning" is the championship we won.
And that was awesome but also 5 years ago. Team has fired the coach, gotten rid of players from that championship team and so forth.
Go look at other franchises... you don't get to hang onto the past forever. I'm forever grateful to Masai but he's well on his way to being the next person run out of town if he doesn't get his damn act together.
I was just answering the question.

Thank god we have BB though, he might fetch us a single SRP. Who needs cap space when you can have a 23m asset that can't even get you what a few mil in cap space can.
Bring on the next wave of excuses.

Props TZ!

I mean anytime you can 3 guys that combined for 1.6 ppg last season, 7.2 million to pay their salaries, a 2025 SRP worse between Nuggets and Sixers, 2026 Warriors SRP and 2031 Knicks SRP, how can you say no right?
Oh, and you get to trade the rights to your 2023 #31 pick who you traded up to get with your 34th and 39th pick too, well done Charlotte.

No worries, Masai in Win Now Mode with the extentions of Brown and Olnyk .. who needs draft picks when you have stellar vet talent....

OG is a 3+D that offers nothing more and nothing less then high level talent in both those areas. His championship success from came sitting on the bench. Brunson and KAT are supposed to be the championship level talent. As good as Brunson is, none of these players have shown to be that yet including OG.
Celts in 5 if they get there. Brunson will Lowry his way to 1 win
Ya you know his resume not his impact on the floor or rep across the league.
Every championship level team wants him.
That why we got a legacy package for his expiring.
I can his resume myself.
Learn to read the play.
He one of the more dominant players in the entire league.
Very prime ron artest.
OG is nothing like Ron Artest. Not saying thats a bad thing in many ways
Dude you got no clue what’s happening on defence lol.
Try focusing on the lead point guards eyes before he initiates the offense. Do that every play for a few years.
It’ll help

I’m not sure what you fools are expecting an excuse for. There’s no excuse needed. Brown’s contract did not prohibit us from getting in on this deal. We have ample cap space currently to facilitate other teams trades.
Either we weren’t interested in partaking or we weren’t needed ultimately. Either way you dudes don’t know what you’re talking about, unsurprisingly.

IF you believe the insiders, we already turned down a first from Knicks last year draft (2024) either the 24th pick or 25th pick for Bruce Brown at last year deadline, because we didn't want so many picks in "bad" draft year.
Only then we want to acquire some additional picks in draft anyways lol.

I think that an underrated part of the Knicks team is Mikal Bridges. He’s been a third/fourth option on a finals team, he’s not a great first option but he’s shown that he can create his own shot and put up an easy 20 ppg in his sleep.
He’s also another all defensive wing playing for a defence first coach. It means that him and OG can take turns on the best offensive wing causing hell.
I actually like the idea of Mitchel Robinson coming off the bench when healthy, but could start @ C for certain matchups. Knicks bench still needs work but they have a rock solid 8 man playoff rotation.

Ya I've been saying the same thing. Our front office is slowly turning into a joke lol.
Hopefully not for long because I don't want to relive the pre-masai years again lol.

Yeah the Knicks are lethal and built really well for the playoffs.
A top 5 point guard in Brunson.
A top 5 big in Towns.
A perfect 3rd scoring option in Bridges.
A perfect 3+D defender in OG.
That is extremely balanced, solid defensively and excellent shooting.
Seems like they lost some depth but if they are healthy they may be the best equipped team to take out Boston.

Every trade is always bad for the Raptors.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

The game plan from a scouting department would be to put Brunson & Kat into as many actions as possible because Kat doesn't play well in a drop & Brunson has his size/lack of length defensive limitations.
Offensively there's a lack of creativity there outside of Brunson.
They got guys tho, they're in a position to get it done, let's see

In Raptor Ball I Trust
