Seeing as Sasha for Banks was considered at the deadline, how close is Sasha/2011 first for Banks and Belinelli? I mean, considering you landed Belinelli for D. George and all...

I like this trade, but why would the Nets do that? you'd have to think they could do better for Harris?

Honestly in terms of our future there is only 3 ways to go:

Best option:
Resign Bosh and Wade by prob S&T by going into hardcore luxury tax.

2nd Best:
S&T Bosh for some talent and start rebuilding this team. This means not fckin signing anyone above the age of 27!!!

3rd Best:
Resign Bosh and try building a team around him. This is a **** option cause Bosh hasn't shown he is able to be a true franchise player. This would mean we would have to sign some really good players around him who we would have to overpay, and in the end we wouldn't even have a championship team. By resigning Bosh you take a lot of risk because if the guy starts playing worse in 2 seasons (cause he will probably realize he is the next Chris Webber and will just stop tryin) then you have one bad contract.

Agreed. Harris is probably worth a top 5 pick. He's a very good point guard.

If OKC is willing to pay max money to Bosh, shortly before they would have to sign extensions for Durant and Westbrook, then sure. I just don't see it happening. I'd take any two (or more, of course) of Harden, Maynor, Ibaka, and Green.

The Philly Enquirer has a story up about the 76ers waiting for Larry Brown, who might take a front-office position:

http://www.philly.com/inquirer/sports/2 ... Brown.html

According to multiple sources, the 76ers will almost certainly contact coach Larry Brown after the Charlotte Bobcats are eliminated from the playoffs.

The Sixers will likely discuss their coaching vacancy with Brown, who this season led the Bobcats to their first-ever playoff appearance, but it's possible that the Sixers also could discuss a front-office position, according to the same sources.

Although Ed Stefanski is still serving as the Sixers' president and general manager, his position is not secure.

The Bobcats host the Orlando Magic in Game 4 of their first-round series on Monday night. Charlotte trails the best-of-seven series by three games to none.

I've been (probably completely unrealistically) keeping my fingers crossed that Andre Iguodala could be available this summer. It would seem to me to be less likely if Brown comes aboard. I doubt he would want to rebuild.

In addition to keeping Iguodala, Brown could get them to play good D and might make them competitive again :(

heres my idea. A little big to happen but its the only thing that makes sense for all teams

To Toronto: Diop + Iguodala + Green
To Charlotte: Brand
To Philadelphia: Diaw + Evans + Curry + #13 (Henry)
To New York: Calderon + Belinelli

Jack/PG(MLE)/Banks
Iguodala/Derozan/Green
Turkaglu/Weems
Bosh/Johnson/Dorsey
Bargnani/Powell(signed)/Diop

honestly if Raps are considering Davis I'd rather it be Jose going the other way and not sure a pick would have to be required

As per the WT today, the Hawks will be looking to clear some space to sign Joe to the max. What do you think of something like Marco + Cash for Teague + Pick. We saw Utah give up a young rookie PG prospect in Maynor this year to save some money--we can easily swing a similar deal.

i think this deal is fair for everyone.

*only if nets get wall

To TOR: Diop + Harris
To CHA: Calderon
To NJ: Henderson + #13 + Evans

NJ gets a former lottery pick in Henderson + the #13 for Harris which is very good value

TOR gets its all-star level guard while developing Derozan still, i think Diop could be a big body that we could semi use here.

CHA gets a PG who can shoot and LIMITS turnovers something they are in dire need of. The difference between calderon and diops contract is 2.5 million so they have to add something to get something. The contracts end the same year so i like it for them

i then

- Sign Raja Bell 2.5 million annually for x amount of years
- Sign Josh Powell 1.5 million annually for x amount of years

Devin Harris / Jarret Jack / Marcus Banks
Raja Bell / Demar Derozan / Marco Belinelli
Hedo Turkaglu / Sonny Weems
Chris Bosh / Amir Johnson / Joey Dorsey
Andrea Bargnani / Josh Powell / Desagana Diop

this follows BCs mold of what he wants to do this off-season IMO.

A) solve PG problem - check
B) make a move for with chris or without chris - check (Harris is only 26)
C) Improve defense - check
D) get all-star level player to appease Chris - check
E) 6-7 million over tax (which is what he said they will be)
F) Help Hedos play with a player that fits beside him better (Harris)

I think the deal is fair all around.

I would then look to move Evan/Banks for a quality backup Center. Powell could be 3rd string PF and let Doresy walk.
