When he's the only one in the paint contesting/rebounding vs multiple Nets, you have to look at where his teammates are. Where is Amir during those stretches? Outside of the paint, doing what?

Yeah, I don't get that either. Guy's already contested and forced misses for a bunch of shots near the rim. The problem has been giving up easy rebounds and no PG defense.

Amir challenged like 5-6 attempts by Nets. They just hit tough shots + when they missed we couldn't grab the rebounds.

Over the course of the quarter, true. I was specifically pointing to the one instance where people were blaming JV. Where Thad Young/Joe Johnson got offensive rebound attempts. Amir was nowhere to be found while JV was left contesting everything without any rebounding help. DD/GV were there but they don't have the size to do anything.
