Giddey is going to have trouble with the speed of the nba game. Needs major improvement with his quickness, shot and defense.

I feel like us jumping to 4 really fked up OKC lol

Suggs will be good. He will likely be a high level starter for a decade or more.

The key question is, what's harder to find, a player with Suggs' size/skillset or Barnes' size/skillset?

It's really annoying. He's clearly not a first option but because he cant fill Kawhi's shoes and him making max money, people think he sucks. Newsflash, there's like 30 players making max money in NBA...

People might turn completely on Fred this season too because he can't fill Lowrys shoes while not realizing that he's still a really damn good player.

Charlie Brown can't hit the ball. History repeating itself.

Masai's proven to find talented PG's late in draft or undrafted.

You'll never find a prospect like Scottie where we usually draft. Thats the difference.

Just finished watching the game. Had to record it cause I was at work. A few take aways about Barnes:

He didn't shoot well, but his misses weren't bad, looks like he just needs to get more legs into his shot.

He's going to impact winning right away with the way that he communicates on defense, his passing and his hustle.

He's a better rebounder than he was able to show at FSU.

Last but not least, he will almost without a doubt lead the league in techs at some point during his career.

yeah and its on management too to get them help. Those two cant do it alone, so we'll need Barnes, OG to come into their own + deep bench.

It's not the National Barnes Association yet, contrary to rumours.

Pascal being solid isn't the same as Pascal being an all star starter and 2nd team all NBA....

First impressions at the NBA level is that he's very slow and isn't athletic/strong enough to get to the rim at will.

Say what you will about Luka, he's strong as hell and bodies everyone in his way. Cade will need to figure out something here.

lmao so too early to call him a HOF'er?

Also, the form on his 3 pointer isn't bad at all! I honestly expected it to be a lot worse. Pumped to see how it develops with NBA trainers

Read above. I'm responding to him saying he needs a rebound year when that's not the case since he was very good as his numbers show.

He had all-star numbers but wasn't getting in because the team stunk.

I'm talking about the G league guys you keep on the roster.

Just 15 more explanations and they'll get it.

I will make my definitive judgment base on tomorrow's game. Glad we'll have everything figured out this soon. But seriously, please don't be better than Barnes lol.

Maybe rebound is the wrong term. But he was showing progression to being a top 15, top 10 player pre bubble. There was no question if he was more valuable than a player like Paul George for example. Tatum was a real debate between the 2.
