A few of these comments are hilarious:

Pascal for #2 or #3 was *never* a thing. It was never going to happen. And now a few of you are blaming the raptors not getting scoot on more made up things like:

1) Masai wouldn't settle for just #3(and simons). He wanted sharpe too. So you're blaming him for 'asking too much'
2) Blaming pascal for 'tanking his value' and saying he wouldn't resign, so thats why the trade won't go off

The reality is the trade isn't going to go off because Portland was *never* going to trade #3 for pascal or a player like pascal. Barring a true star to come available(which was always a pipe dream), they were going to make the pick and keep the player. But when you've already created this behind the scenes fantasies of what is happening, it's neccessary to then apparently explain things away than say "yeah we are all just making up likely scenarios"....

and hell there is nothing wrong with making up scenarios and having fun with it:)

But it's not right to then create more fictional arguments/explanations for why one of these made up scenarios won't happen.

The blazers were always likely to keep the pick because.....thats just what teams do. I've been telling you guys that for the last few weeks.
