Joan Beringer seems like a very interesting prospect I had never seen mocked in this range until now. Going to be keeping an eye on the rest of his season.12. Joan Beringer, C, Cedevita Olimpija (France)
Slovenia | TS%: 59.6%
Scouting report: Beringer has drawn increasingly significant crowds of NBA decision-makers in Slovenia. The 18-year-old has responded with some spectacular moments on the defensive end, proving to be one of the most versatile players in the class with his ability to cover ground on the perimeter, switch onto smaller players, and protect the rim, leading both the EuroCup and Adriatic League in block percentage. Playing basketball for only three years, Beringer had zero high-level experience coming into the season but is improving every week, giving him unlimited upside to grow into long term. -- Givony
18 years old with his physical measurements, impressing in EuroCup play despite only starting playing basketball 3 years ago? I have this weird feeling Masai is all over this guy.
Just feels like Tijan Salaun's, with all these raw players.
Is he going to be this year's later riser/international man of mystery?

We already have a mystery young big in Chomche. If the Raptors plan to win next season, I think they will look more to someone that can contribute immediately unless kids this Joan is a 'can't miss' prospect.

Alex Condon is FINALLY there at #42 after his 2nd SEC Player of the Week!
Too bad he sprained his ankle in the 1st minute on a dirty play.

So Rasheer play with 2 ballhog guards that shoot under 33% from 3. Fleming goes 3 for 3 and 2 for 2 from deep. Oh wait, he only played 11 min? Damn, he fouled out?!?!?
Scottie struggles against length, so we're going to not think that Queen will?

Psubs wrote:I prefer Condon's overall tools right now. Z is essentially a 7'2 Boucher (if he doesn't add muscle) that processes the game a bit quicker.
So Cal is letting Z cook. Back to back 25+ point games!
25 pts (10 for 13, 2 for 2 FT, 3 for 5 from Deep), 4 Blks (1 Foul), 3 Rebs and 1 Steal
Ya, he's like Boucher rebounding. I wonder if he'd get better at that by age 25 if he gets stronger.

I stumbled across this dude Jaron Pierre while scrolling on instagram and had to post his highlights after I saw it.
Not sure we’re ever going to see him against really good competition, but he glides when he jumps and seems to be smart about how he uses his athleticism. He might be worth a look in the 2nd round, or if he goes VERY under the radar I hope to see him on our SL team. He looks like a hooper.

His numbers are super meh and he doesn't play a lot, which is understandable. I think it's weird that he's getting this much hype for what amounts to a one position player, who has barely played any organized basketball. Probably a team like OKC takes him to draft and stash, so they don't have to pay.

Do you think they drafted Topic because he was out for the year? I guess counts on the cap but does insurance cover the preexisting condition.

That was good value, but going forward when they face their actual cap crunch they're going to have trouble with these picks.

They can trade players or just let Kenrich Williams and Ousmane Dieng walk (like Poku) summer 2026. I guess in 2027, just trade Caruso as they should keep Dort. They are hitting rotational players at like 50% clip and with all of their stock, they will be fine as the cap will go up a lot in a couple of years.

Jayden Quaintance has a sprained ankle so couldn't guard him.
Seems like JQ has quicker hips and so pogo-stick bouncy. Oh, maybe like Jalen Duren 2.0.
