Good to see Rockets extend the series but I was hoping to watch an actual game.

The warriors did really good to get Quentin Post as a late second round guy. He seems like a legit rotation guy.

Knicks are in a situation where they went all-in for 2nd-3rd tier talent. They have zero draft capital and guys locked into long-term deals.

Maybe they prove me wrong and go onto the next round and beat Boston but Detroit has been the better team and they are a team with a big 3 of Cade, Beasley and Harris. That’s frightening. lol.

Seems Leon Rose went to the BC school of accumulating talent but not really knowing how to assemble a team. I love the focus on D with OG, Bridges and Hart, but Brunson is their dribble penetration threat and is essential to getting the offense moving (unless he's going hero mode).

I do think they'll get a nice bump by upgrading to a coach who can better take advantage of the personnel they have. Thibs tends to force square pegs into round holes. It's also funny that their most critical position on D is held down by KAT.

They need to get bold with trades that rebalances some of that talent to a deeper bench and strong defensive options in their front-court rotation. They also really need to take advantage of Brunson being elite. As a smaller guard who embraces physicality and outsmarts his defenders, when he loses a step I think he falls off a cliff (reminds me of Kyle) and he's 29 at the start of next season.

When they acquired OG last season Rose had brought them to a very good place, with lots of draft capital. But that deadline they made a move that was hailed at the time, Grimes and Malachi for Bogdanovic and Burkes. But that really didn't work out. The Bridges trade cost too many picks and he's good but not the secondary playmaker and scorer they really need. Kat was a good acquisition but trading 2 for 1 hurt the depth. And the bench is too small. So a lot of questionable moves after the OG trade.

They can win this series but the fact it's not already over is on Thibs and his unimaginative offense. I agree the only hope is a new coach who can unlock the offense with more creativity, as well as developing the bench more.

Gobert has such bad hands but he's effective sometimes, with a size advantage like tonight.

NAW with a bad airball there

I saw Rudy get a good elbow into Doncic while Luka was trying to defend him in the post.

edit: and he seemed to enjoy it.

NAW hits a big three after a couple of airballs. Wolves can bury them here if they hit open threes

LeBron just forklifted Walker and was awarded two free throws, Minnesota needs to stop jacking up threes.

And this LA/Wolves series should be on Giannis mind. Leaving Bucks to play on a mid constructed or poorly built team is not it anymore. You have to build around your star strength or weakness. Roster construction matters more this era more than EVER.

Last year Dallas beat this Wolves team even though Kyrie is worse than Bron... Lakers had no poa defender they could rely on to hit shots or a center.

This will be good for Luka. He needs to take this summer seriously. He can be the best player in the league or at least top 3.

As opposed to losing in the Finals a year ago and also being heavily criticized?

I have feeling Jaxson Hayes will be in camp with us next year. His agent is Bill Duffy and we got Scottie, RJ and Gradey who all his clients.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

IIRC, he had some pretty serious off-court issues that Masai tends to stay away from (rightfully IMO).
