IQ is a 2 level scorer and can't get to the bucket. Ja is a 2 level scorer and would make the team's already below average 3pt shooting worse.

Lamelo is a 3 level scorer but isn't a good defender. Maybe with other good defender's around it would help.

Ja also has terrible efficiency getting the bucket now, I can't think of much that Ja does well anymore.

One could argue that we've already seen Ja at his best and we're in the slow decline phase of his career.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

JA has always been an inefficient scorer, it's just that in the past he was able to make up for it through sheer volume

Thats the risk you take when you buy low. The same could have been said for Ingram/Kawhi and the many others who have been in similar situations for various reasons.

The price of Morant would be built into the risk or else you wouldnt be getting him for the crap we're being rumoured in offering.

People keep thinking of Ja from 3 years ago but this is a guy who has lost some athleticism that made him the star that he was.

Has Ja bought a house around Toronto? He did in Miami.

There’s literally footage of him and Vince Williams fighting, where Vince Williams literally laughs in his face like he’s a lunatic lmao. Stay away.

Yeah keep that floss string away from us. U can't win a championship with him as a starting PG. And what makes it worse is he can't shoot.

No to Ja that video seals it

LaMelo I’d be happy to gamble.

Ja could be the next Lowry for us. Malcontent on another team.....burning bridges. Come here & rehab your worth.

I think Masai was instrumental in helping Kyle mature as a player though........and he ain't here anymore.

Right now Lamelo is at the top of my list of preferred players that may be attainable.

Lowry could be temperamental, but he always played hard, made winning plays and put the team above his own personal stats. You can't really say that about Ja.

I was more receptive to Trae because of the shorter contract, significantly less injury concern, can actually shoot and not a team chemistry killer. With Ja, I'm not even sure you want him to play well because extending him when he's in his late 20's just seems like a bad idea even if he were to regain his form. The history of this player type aging well is basically non existent.

I think Ja's contract lines up with Ingram's. It'd be a 'show me' trade. If the Raptors are interested I trust Darko's feel for the situation. If the Raptors are just bluffing I also trust Darko's feel for the situation

We're basically in on every star on the market, and offering a package of non Ingram/Scottie players + not much else to get it done. If we make a big play and give up on CMB, that will be very uncharacteristic of what this management team has done in the past, or a sign that our management team is actually cooked to begin with.

CMB is pretty close to untouchable. It would need to be Giannis to even get us to consider it.

Of all the trade talks we have been involved in, Trey Murphy would be the only one I actually want to get done if possible. The price is probably insane though with the way he's been playing.
