I kept on hearing so much about Austin Rivers (Doc's son), so I decided to check out some highlights of this kid. This was my reaction after watching just one highlight reel by HoopMixtape

Yeah seen all his videos, he's got a polished game I like his step back move it looks ridiculously sick, he might be the up and coming Stephen Curry, but he's sorta under-size so don't know how he'll do in the nba although Stephen Curry 6'3 and Eric Gordon 6'4 have done pretty good so far.

Btw, Baylor is playing at 2pm tomorrow (I'd like to watch Perry Jones) and Ohio State game is at 6 (Sullinger is going to beast on everyone again).

I really, really hope we can draft one of these two. Personally I'd love to get Myck, being the hometown boy and all. I think he can be very special.

All it takes is that one guy - hopefully Irving or another PG we draft can do it.
I think Weems can develop a 3 point shot, and Derozan can develop a better midrange game by next season. Assuming Kleiza can get it together, that could lead to a crunch time lineup of Irving, Derozan,Weems, Kleiza, Davis. Which could be a potent fast break team.

Getting a young Center like McGee, Deandre Jordan, etc would be nice, but the more attainable players will probably be guys like Haywood, Chandler, Gortat etc who could play the Rasho role of the 2007 team.

he's got 2 points taken away from his idiotic teammate (basket interference) or else would have got 10 points now, he misses few baskets - missed an alley oop layup, missed couple putbacks too, so far offensively he's very passive, he needs to demand the ball more and when he's in the paint calling for a post up no one passes to him. Defensively he's been great so far, blocking alot of shots, using his long arms and hands to bother the defender.

He still needs to understand the game, still doesn't know how to use his size to take advantage on defenders, needs to take over the game but he's still not ready yet. He still shows great handles and athleticism so far tho.

I'm going to need to watch more of both of them, but I think he can be better than Barnes... he just looks like he can impact the game in more ways.
