these are pretty good dunks considering his athleticism is negatively perceived by the haters as "weak hop". I want more Barnes pre-draft workout, more!

The true problem with Harrison Barnes isn't his athleticism... as the combined proved, he's actually quite the athlete. The real issue is his top heavy-ness. The guy has a good wingspan but very poor standing reach considering his height and arm length. Just looking at him in a full portrait photo you can see his torso seems disproportionately long, and his standing reach corroborates this.

What this all means is that his center of gravity is too high, making it more difficult for him to control his body on the move.

BTW i'm not talking out of my arse. Everyone, just pay close attention to his body, then look at his measurements, then watch how he moves in games. The center of gravity issue is actually very intuitive: grab two poles or rods, one shorter than the other, then attach to the end of each a flag sufficient in length to make the total height of each the same. Then run around a football field on even a semi-windy day and you'll feel for yourself how much more difficult it is to control the shorter pole with the longer flag appended to it. This is the way Harrison Barnes feels when he's trying to attack the rim and get his body to respond the way he wants it to. It just isn't as natural to him.
