If Boston is serious about tanking, Rajon Rondo to the Raps? He's not necessarily my fave player but Casey would love him - plays d and is pass first (borderline pass only). Plus, Boston really likes Bradley.

So we offer demar for ellis s&t and their 2014 draft pick, use Jennings and demars friendship as the selling point. Hope for a bucks implosion and get a lottery pick while we compete with Ellis as or 6th man.

And before anyone says that the bucks won't trade a unprotected draft pick, remember that these are the same guys that gave up assets like Tobias Harris for a rental to clinch the 8th spot.

This is the ideal scenario. A mediocre team lets us rip them off and they just suck. We get a top pick without having to endure a horrible season. I don't think the odds of it happening are great, but they're far from impossible as well.

I think I rather have JJ Redick and Ersan instead of Monta Ellis. I like the Demar and Bargnani for JJ and Ersan proposal (add players as needed).

Damn. I read that wrong. Pierce actually expired after next year. I thought he expired in 2014/2015 (2 years from now) not next year. You're right. That changes things considerably. Forget it.

I thought this was one of my better ones.

I'm assuming that SAC takes Trey Burke with their pick, making the very productive Thomas expendable. By giving them Derozan, we fix our bench with 2 good players. Flipping Ross will give us an opportunity to correct our mistake in the 2012 draft and pick a better long term prospect for our future. Finally, if the short term goal is to make the playoffs, Delfino can fill in at SG at the vet min by providing quality floor spacing and defense.

You are undervaluing DeRozan.

By trading him for Thomas and Hayes, you are downgrading in talent. That is poor asset management.

Ross was the 8th pick in a deeper draft, why trade him at his lowest value for a #11 pick in a thinner draft?

Just because we drafted Ross over Drummond doesn't make him a mistake. Its too early to give up on a player with the tools he has, especially when his value is this low. Again, poor asset management.

I'm sure you like it. The Bucks would hang the phone up. Ersan is better than Derozan (by a fairly large margin), and well Bargnani is terrible. The Bucks have no incentive whatsoever to make a trade like that.

Yup only way we can get a pick out of them is to swap ellis with DeRozan so they can apease jennings to stay and continue their tread milling. Ellis already told them about how he isn't going to stay.

Are Jennings and Ellis both done in Milwaukee? If so, it might be the right time to trade Lowry. I suggested a trade earlier (page 15) involving Lowry, Rudy, Ilyasova (there were rumours that Washington would give up the 3rd pick for him), and a few others that I thought could wind up getting the Raptors back the Wizards' pick and either this year's or next year's Milwaukee pick (preferably next year's), along with Okafor and Gooden (negative value contract sweetens the deal for the Bucks).

Ellis opting out might make the Bucks want to get Lowry. Maybe sending Washington a 2015 protected pick would be necessary.

How much interest would the Bucks have in Lowry? He could keep them in playoff contention, I think. What about Gay?

If we were going to disband and tank, we'd have to focus on wiz, bucks and det. I fully expect detriot to bid on both mayo and iggy which is good because they have no pick to trade (cha). Meaning we have to focus on the bucks and wiz. For the wiz there was a trade already proposed that sent rudy for their 2014. And we trade demar or lowry for the bucks 2014. we can then look to offload lowry to a team like dallas or whatever for a weak pick.

This package of picks should make it more tantilizing for a team that might in a posistion to draft wiggins or parker but already have prospects on the wings like orlando (harris, harkless, maybe portor).

The Wizards have absolutely no interest in Rudy Gay whatsoever.

So the Magic are going to pass on Wiggins and Randle and Parker because they have Tobias Harris? I wonder if anyone thought that the '03 Cavs would pass on LeBron because they had Ricky Davis...

Derozan, Ross, Amir and a 2015 1st round pick for Al Hortford. I'm assuming that atl comes up empty in the off season and decides to tank.

Sign Delfino

Lowry
Delfino
Gay
Hortford
Val

How is that an overpay? Atlanta would hang up the phone. Horford is the best player in that whole trade, BY FAR.
