Rumour has it Riley is bringing Dan Marino to come give Lowry a talk.

Lol I hope he does, he can have Vasquez. If its Lowry vs Vasquez...well you already know who the majority of people want as our starting point guard.

We keep Lowry, he can take Vasquez, and then regret it a la Landry Fields.

The money total isn't an issue, if it is front loaded,

14.5
13
11.5
10

That's fine, we don't need the cap this year or next

Toronto isn't a fun place to be in the winter months.
We haven't won much.
We are in a different country and some of the states offer favorable tax breaks and a better lifestyle for Kyle's family.

We aren't the best destination. I don't think our offer will be the best offer fans would ideally want. Get over it. 4 years. 52 million. That's my guess.

4/48 is a lot but it's hardly ridiculous. The guy was one of the 20 best players in the entire league last year easily. Thinking we were going to entice him with anything less than 4/42 is laughable

I thought it was the Lakers who were going to make Lowry a huge offer. What happened to them?

I'm not really too worried about the Heat since we can pay Lowry twice what they can.

Isn't it tampering to meet with him now that he's a UFA before july 1st? Or does that not apply to teams who hold Bird rights?

Of course Lowry is going to stay, after game 7 it was a guarantee.

18 millions? C'mon man...
If Ujiri has done such a thing, he deserves to be fired, right now!

It can't be made official until midnight so they either have a source (unlikely in the Masai era) or taking a good shot in the dark.
